Odyssey came through with these cranks!
Goin on my second pair there have never bent or cracked. I love the feel and are super smooth!
Something I didn't like was how the bolt doesnt stay tight. But overall I give them 4 stars!
and what do you have to lose Odysseys warrenty's are awesome! -

these cranks are amazing... they have a lifetime guarrente and i doubt that i'll ever have to use it. they have held up to everything that i put them through and i've had them for almost 2 and 1/2 years now. they're smooth and light. they come loose alot for the first month or so but just use lock-tight and thread lock tape and your fine.... other than that, i can't give u a reason not to buy these cranks unless you just want to be trendy.

There not the best cranks on the marhek but i love the warranty. I have to replace my arms cause they are bent but they arnt that bad compared to what i had before. But for the same amount of money , or cheaper, you could get much better cranks.
Problems ive had:
-Bent arms (im a rough rider)
-Bolts coming loose (super glue/locktight will fix that)
-Spindle bending (not covered by the warranty)
-Splines on spinle/inside of arm stripping(i have to superglue that to keep it from moving)
These are my only problems after a couple years on them
Hope this review helps! -

well to start off. i only rode street with these cranks. the good things about the cranks is that they are cheap and lite. the bad thing about these cranks is that they come loose almost everyday. i put tread lock on it and it still didnt help. overall these cranks are good if you are not hard on cranks.

I always considered Profile cranks to be the benchmark when evaluating cranksets. The 41 thermals are basically another version of the Profile race crank but heat treated and possibly tougher. They come with a great tool for putting them on and off which is better than the Profile.

I've been running these cranks since early 2004, with no real issues*. They're plenty strong, and have taken abuse over the past few years in the form of pedal and crankarm grinds of all types. Although they're starting to wear down pretty badly now, to the point of needing replacing soon (probably with Wombolts) due to all of the damage I've inflicted on them, they're still holding up very well. I highly, highly recommend these cranks if you need new crank and have decided against going with Wombolts.
*Originally they did get loose quite often and develop the "Profile wobble", but this was fixed by replacing the flush bolts with the washers from Profiles and 3/8"-24tpi hex bolts from OSH. -

Got a pair of these and i kept brakin my chain. Turns out the spindle and arms were bent from everyday riding. Buddies at Odyssey hooked me up with a new pair in less than a week and they are perfect.
good pair of cranks i just got a bad batch

i gave mine a 4 star because they have one slight problem for me they f***ing hurt my ankles while doing tailwhips but other than that they are amazing i have upgraded the bolts and spindle to ti and they still hold up to everything that i can dish out to them

Ive´had these for a while, I upgraded to a Ti spindle they work and hold up really good I have them tightened up real tight so that way the spindle bolts dont come loose.

I just got these cranks and they are really hard to get on and off. I even had to get a new spindle from Odyssey because the one DansComp sent me didn't fit.

shity i bent thim after 1/2 a year and i ride park and trails dont buy this crank

These cranks suck. I never even had to use the crank tool, EVER. The arms just slid on super easy and never stayed tight. I hate these cranks.
One star for the great warranty. Check the Wombolts, now those are good.
