I have rode my 3 pairs of Profiles on my street bike for about a year and a half, 20" race bike for 3 or 4 years, and 24" race for 3 years (and they were previously used for 5 years!!!). They are very tough cranks just for any type of riding. Profile always makes the some of the best stuff on the market. I say keep up the good work and keep makin some awesome stuff!

These cranks are the best. Had them on my first real bike, DK Legend. All chrome with chrome cranks and red DX brakes, man Im so mad I sold that bike. Well anyways, the cranks are great I havent rode anything else except for a pair of WTP( what a heavy mistake) and a set of mini arms ( too light and flexy). Nothing beats the OG profile race cranks. Definitely a smart buy for any all around rider.

well i've been riding these for a little bit over a year now. got these from Albe's for 199 with all the fixins( ti spindle, cone spacers, and bitchin bolts)
and if i ever break these, ill definately wont be hesitating to buy another set of profiles
out of all the cranks i've tried over the years these have to be the best bang for your buck and best overall -

These cranks rock.. I have been using them on all of my bikes year after year. If I build up a new bike these cranks are a must have. I would recomend this crankset to anyone building a new bike or repairing a old bike. The just keep going and going and going.

I had these cranks about 2 years ago,it was on the only bike of mine to get stolen, I wish I would have gotten new ones since then, probably the best cranks I have ever ran, no problems with squeeks or anything like my cranks I have now =(

first off profile makes great products, I have had my cranks for over 5 years and there still going strong, just got a new BB off ebay but thats the only thing i have changed, but i do think they need to update a little and make the spindle hole and sprocket bolt hole 1 piece, similiar to the stolen cranks

i dont understand why everyone is hardcore profile for life, and they make the best cranks. to be honest these cranks sucked the came loose all the time so i got flush mounts, they still came loose, i used locktite and everything possible they still came loose then the part where you tighten the bolt bend and i had extreme difficulty tightening them, and i have emailed profile about their warranty and they never have gotten back to me and its been a half of a year. the only thing i like about these is that profile is american made and the looks of these cranks are really good... but either save some money and buy easterns or save up more and buy wombolts.
i would give them a 2 but the shitty warranty service pissed me off -

Clean goodlooking cranks lightweight, the only prob that I have with them is they tend to git loose alot and I find myself tighteing them everytime I ride overall good cranks just need abit of lock tight and yer set

I rode these cranks for 6 years didn't have to do anything to them. I agree they went loose a few times till I added lock tight.

great cranks got mine a year ago but they had been ridden by few of the locals at my park for like 5 years. they have a bit of play in the left arm but apart from that they are awesome wouldnt run anything else. profile stuff kicks ass love it

First i'd like to say these cranks IMO are hands down the best 3pc crank out there. The company has a solid rep, great warranty and make a superb product.
I must give these cranks a 10/10. Reason being is i've had 5 sets of profiles in my life(over a 9year span). My first set lasted about 6 years. After the threads started to strip and re-tapping didn't fix it, profile replaced the arms and axle. 2 sets were stolen on 2 different bikes i had. My 4th set i paid for was a Euro set and were great but i switched to LHD and the Euro ones were a pain to take off. Im on the 5th set now. These things aren't the lightest but def light and they are 4130 chromoly!
To fitflow41, profile is a great company. Don't email them if you are gonna try to get them warrantied, call them! Talk to shane if he's still there. Also you need to be the orig owner and a receipt is needed(which i had after 6yrs). -

These are the original strong ass cranks. Strong light and damnd good looking. These are the ups and down. If you are a smooth rider that doesnt do high impact tricks or gaps they will do you just fine. On the other hand if you do the heavy stuff these will break easily. I have gone through 3 pairs in the past 4 years. I will recommend powerbites for those of you who are a litle more demanding of your bikes. Other than that these are one of the best buys out there.

These have a great design but like all profile parts they charge you up the ass for things that come stock on other cranks. Seriously, 15 bucks for flush bolts???? thats stupid, for cheaper one could get a a ti spindle demolition crank set that comes with hollow flush bolts and way cooler colors.
I also broke two sets of these and had to buy another arm.
With odysseys, demolitions, and even the breaking fly cranks everyone I know got a new set. Good luck with profile they are stingy. -

Light crank set they do flex a tiny bit. I suggest sticking with the chromoly spindle with the ti spindle they flex a lot on street.

did a grind down a small rail and had an arm snap in half by the spindle end. they were really old though. got new ones and absoulutely love them.

I've been riding profile cranks for close to 7 years. I think i bought my first set when i was in 8th grade, and rode them up until they bent inwards 5 years later. I bought left hand drive arms and a ti spindle after that and have not had too many problems, other than where you tighten them, the metal on the cranks bent inwards so i can't loosen the bolt. But other than that they're tough cranks and have lived up to their legendary name.
