yes these are extremely light for an aluminum 3 pc crank set. but unless you are riding strictly flat, racing , or a really smooth trails rider i dont recommend these. i have been running these for over a year now and i am sorry to say i am disappointed in these, they creak, pop , and groan more than an 80 year old man in the nursing home even after they have been heavily greased and tightened. plus the spindle bosses stick out a bit far catching the hems of your jeans as well a sthe sharp edges . if you want good odyssey cranks , just spend the extra cash and get the wombolts.

worst cranks ever, there aluminum, so there light, but there not strong, and the pedal bosses strip, plus the bolts stipped to and so did the spindle, and the bearings they come with suck as well, just dont get them
