The steel version is the only one you should ride. Paying $45 dollars for a tiny two ounces of aluminum is STUPID. And if you pay it, they will continue to think it is okay to rip you off like this. If they sold the aluminum GTX-R for $20 NO ONE WOULD HAVE EVER EVEN HEARD OF THE SNAFU MOBEUS OR ANY OTHER DETANGLER. Come on Odyssey!!! $45 to take ONE OUNCE OFF THE ORIGINAL??? You've got to be kidding!!! Not every rider is a rich kid and THIS ISN'T EVEN MADE IN aMERICA!!! It's made in Taiwan where IT PROBABLY COSTS LIKE 30 CENTS A PIECE WHILE THEY TURN A 700% PROFIT. Screw that, I'm riding the steel one until they give the GTX-R a fair price.

I have mine for over a year and I recently change it because the paint was comming off, but the detangler worked perfectly till the end, one of my favorit product on my bike!

Yeah, yeah, it's heavier than the GTX-R but it also doesn't pull apart like the alloy version. Spins nicely and the built in knarps are a great touch to keep your cables where they should be.

This thing was the nicest gyro I have ever dealt with. so smooth, easy to adjust. Locking the cables down with the set screws was a really nice feature. No complants about this.

I never noticed how my unsmooth my old detangler had become until I replaced it with a gtx-r. It feels so much better that there is no way i'm ever going to use a different detangler anytime soon. This product is well worth it's price.

I run the gtx-r but this is basically the same, just a little heavier (small like.. 2 oz?) and the sealed berrings on the gtx-r, but this gyro is an amazing gyro compared to the metal ones that are found on just about every stock bike.. worth the money.. odyssey, how do they do so many good things??
