Got my fork last week and saweeeet! these forks are no longer available. Everyone can stop commenting on ultraslim forks. The replacement upgrade is the Hawkeyes and they are a substantial upgrade. Most manufactures are producing afork in this weight range and Since Eastern was one of the first they admit some strength issues- on them and are just putting everyone in the hawkeyes. nice job. I appreciate mine and will keep riding eastern.

have been riding these bad boys for 1 1/2 and just got a small stress crack in the crown on both sides. Not a problem though life time warranty. Buy them Eastern's Warranty is Awesome. Yes I cracked them, however they'll be replaced at no cost and upgrading to the Hawkeye's. Eastern also has the upgrade program for their frames so for like 250 you get the top of the line ride.

i snapped them into three pieces the yesterday. im quite upset but glad i didnt get hurt. i got very lucky and these forks suck....it should have no stars. buy american....

bought these when they first came out because of the weight and because of other materialistic features. For eight months or so i had no problems and i loved them but just recently i was at a park hitting a quarter when they snapped upon landing. The forks snaped right below the head tube, I was extremely fortunate to walk away un injured from this and im currently in the process of getting the details on the warranty. In my opinion i dont beat forks that hard and i certainly wont be buying anymore eastern parts and definately not ultralight forks!! beWARE!

yea i agree eastern has really light parts but most of them lack strength. i'd rather have strength then a little less weight cuz i dont feel like fuckin slamming my face cuz my "light bike" wasn't strong enough

Death in the making.. forks break at welds atop fork legs.. too light and too swiss cheesed out does not equal strong or durable.

sick of eastern parts. rode this fork. cant use a 2.25 tyre and are weak as shit. bent em after a month of riding. odysseys where its at!

Why the hell would anybody want to pay $99 for these forks? It doesn't even come with a warranty. You can get odyssey race forks... only 2 oz more and $10 cheaper with a lifetime warranty.

Im so sick of Eastern's bike parts, it sounds to me their business isn't doing very well so they make these super light bike parts and people give in thinking it will last and in the end only getting ripped off. Anybody with brains wouldn't buy this fork. Come on now.
