“Best Frame I've ever had”

The Good: really light, strong, not too expensive, feels great especially in air, candy red looks fucking bad ass!

The Bad: Nothing so far

Overall Review:

This is hands down the best frame I've ever rode. Its crazy strong, its survived 11 stair drops, countless hangups, and whatever else could be thrown at it. The geometry feels great. It has long dropouts so I added an extra half link to lengthen the wheel base a wee bit. It rides very well. It's a very predictable ride, I have yet to have one of those awkward takeoffs that bucks you forward, with my old frames I'd get those and nose case quite often It is super easy to control in air, and very stable. The only problem I had is I dented the chainstay grinding, but that was more my fault, not the frame's.

I would recommend this frame to anyone. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

“A good frame”

The Good: Light, quite strong and has just a good basic geometry, easy to ride. Overall really good frame and the price is definitely right.

The Bad: Mine has dented some on the chainstay, this is from grinding ledges and rear peg slipping. I wouldn't say it dents easily because I have bashed it pretty hard. But, it dents easier than some of the harder frames out there. Also, brake mounts. for some reason Black Eye chose to have their own custom 990 break mounts, so you have to buy their brakemounts. The bike comes with them but if you lose them then it's very difficult to get replacements. I had to work directly with the owner of Black Eye to get replacement mounts.

Overall Review: If you are looking for a good all around frame then it's a good choice. If you want a better frame you'll have to pay more. In other words, great frame for the price. I've riden mine for about a year and still no major complaints other than the denting on chainstay.

“Great frame for the price”

The Good: It can take really harsh riding I do loads of flat drops and grinds and it holds up extremely well. I ran full pegs for awhile and it could fit the hub guards on both side easily. Great frame and I recommend it to others

The Bad: Nothing so far that I have found I haven't dented it or anything

Overall Review: Great frame I recommend to other riders any day and great job blackeye on this frame.

The Good: It is a great frame for the price. It is super light and durable even after ridding it for a full year.

The Bad: Nothing that I have found yet, and don't plan on finding anything bad.
