“I expected more for almost $400”

    The Good:

    geo,weight,good looking

    The Bad:

the extra work I had to put into it to make everything work right.

    Overall Review:

To start off with I bought the 2014 model. I must say I love how this frame looks and rides.

Putting the bottom bracket in was a breeze. Then the brake hardware was easy too. Then I built the bike up, and had no problems until I put the integrated chain tensioners in. They were kind off painted shut. No big deal really for me I have tap and die sets, but for the average person I think this might be a problem.

Last thing I always do is put the brake on. I used an odyssey evo II. I happen to love this brake used one for years never had problems with them. The removable brake mounts were too short. Only a 1/32" or more , but still too short to make my Read More »

Only a 1/32" or more , but still too short to make my brakes work. Good thing I'm older have allot of tools, and know how. Things the average person buying this frame doesn't have.  I ended up grinding down the brass bushings on the brakes to make it work, but for the kind of money I dropped on this frame that kind of stuff should be made correct.

I guess for most of you the brake problems won't be an issue.Because allot of you might not ride brakes. Because I do I can't give this frame 5 stars.

    “Really weak”

    The Good:

I loved the geometry and general look and feel of the frame. Light enough, and cheap from evanscycles.

    The Bad:

The chainstays twisted after 5 months after landing sideways. Other frames would of easily taken the impact which leads me to say it isn't built for strength

    Overall Review:

Its really good but i wouldn't buy this if your learning things or gonna be putting it under alot of strain as the frames pretty weak. Good for money if you can make it last
