I always used to run the T1 medium bars with 12 degrees sweep or i'd try and find the lightest not too wide but alotta sweep pair of bars and I'd go through about 4 pairs of bars a year from bending them. The Last set of odyssey civillian bars I had I bent throwing my bike down off a ledge I slipped a pedal on, so it came time to get new bars. I go into my local shop to see what they've got and they showed me the new (at the time about 1.5 years ago) macniel 14 bars and I couldnt believe how light they were, it was the first pair of butted bars I've owned and needless to say probably the last. I've rode just about everything from curbs to ghetto vert walls on garages with these bars and bailed plenty of times on them and theres not bends or dents or even any signs of flex. My only "complaint" is that they didn't make them in any sweet colours at the time like most companies do these days. So all in all if you like medium width bars without having to do any cutting, lots of back sweep and a lil upsweep. and really light but just as equally strong parts, I'd say the macniel light bars are for you. they even come in different heights anmd widths!

Really light bars with various sizes height wise and width wise as well. Colours are good. I snapped a set of handlebars at the weld, from riding not throwing my bike. I know two other people who snapped theirs as well. Maybe not the best bars out there, although the new MacNeil bars are guaranteed against these such probelems from before.

Great feel, real nice and light. No problems with them in almost a year of riding. Very happy camper, especially after I broke my last set of bars at the weld also. Great upgrade.

My friend has had these bars for about 2 years now, even buying a new bike and immediately switching the bars out, and they don't even have a scratch on them. Very light. Perfect width/height.

great bars, get the XLT version fucking lush

Strange couple of days with the transition from the sweep of eastern lights top these silencers. Surely puts stress on a different region of your wrist, but as soon as the adjustment sets in they are pretty slick. I think no back sweep puts you in a more up-front and huck-ready postion. The Anti-throttle holes don't exactly work as well as expected, but atleast they saved me a whopping 1.43 grams or so. Great bars, highly recomended.
