Before I had installed the FBM guard on my bike, my hubs looked, and worked like garbage. The spokes would snap, the hub would bend so it would be even harder to get them out and in. After three hubs i decided it was time to get a hub guard. And after reading on the FBM website that even guys like Van Homan and Corey Martinez rocked them, i knew it was a sure thing. And I haven't been happier, definetly something to pick up if you have been destroying hubs.

If you destroy wheels spokes and hubs you should get one of these. Still going strong it goes through alot of ware and tear just keep rotating it but its the best one Ive come across yet but I havent tried the mutiny hub buddy yet. This is a great choice though

Just slides onto your axle which isnt very good after time it destroys your axle and you have to pull your rear end apart to get the wheel in which in turn comprimises the strength of the frame...poorly designed

i needed to stretch out my frame to get it on, then i had a small problem with my hub being too tight, after i got that under control the guard is pretty awesome

one way to make this guard fit is to take the washers out of the hub. i had one hell of a time gettin this thing on this morning, but, this one looks way better than any other one on the market. and plus, it comes in colors, and does the job.

This hub guard is awesome! I've been running it for roughly 1.5 years and i have been putting a moderate-heavy amount of abuse into this hubguard, and it's still working very well. The only problem is that it deformed i.e.: seperating from my drop to the point where i could put 1 or 2 pieces of paper between the hubguard & dropout. But since they have a steel washer in them now that won't happen. The retail price is $25.99 or so.

This hub guard is wild and dialed. I've put it through abuse that bent two other hub guards, and the FBM has held up for about 6 months. Definitely a solid hub guard.

G-sport gland2 sucks bad. Zip ties brake every session tell its flopping around. I rock the snafu, it deforms i just rotate to make up for it.

i noticed that someone says it didnt fit, i had to pull the drop outs outward and slide it on, just takes a bit of muscle and it fits nice, its holding up great too, and no it will not fir drive side.

i was always breaking spokes but now that i got this i havent broken 1 spoke at all.
and as for it not fitting, mine fit on perfectly, if it doesnt fit, your back ends probably bent in a little or something -

I got one the other day and I couldn't get it on but I didn't try pulling the wheelbase apart. Are you all sure it is ok to pull it apart like that?
