"Its a great hub!"

Rating:

The Good: It lasted me almost 4 years. Its LHD/RHD and is so easy to work on. also its veryyyy LOUD. t is cheap for those riders on a budget that need a good hub.

The Bad: those little screws that keep the pawls and springs in get loose over time and can dig into the hub shell

Overall Review: I love this hub i still have it as a spare and i might re lace it for another bike. Best Eastern product i have bought.

"Its Not too good"

The Good: It was Smooth As hell And never Skipped a beat

The Bad: Cones slackened Easy And berings Busted Easily

Overall Review: I had This hub with a stock eastern for about 7 months, It was not to bad when it was at its peak, not to loud but not to quiet, After the 7 Months The berings Just destroyed and the cones were Fked

"Eastern blows"

The Good: Nothing unless you cant ride or are beggining

The Bad: everything the company as a whole sucks

Overall Review: I've been riding for about 8 to 10 years off and on and i have rode several different bike companys, and i have never broke parts as often as i do with eastern, honestly if your not breaking their parts your not riding, i have in just the past six months gone through five frames, eight pairs of forks, three bars, and i lost count of the cranks and rims, the front hub i wont like is okay, anything else sucks! Granted when i ride im extreamly hard on bikes, but eastern if you do anything more than an eight foot drop your screwed.

The Good: very loud and it looks really nice. rides really smooth had it for a little bit so far.

The Bad: nothing so far.

Overall Review: really nice hub nothing wrong with it. i would recommend this to a friend.

The Good: It rode well ,semi loud

The Bad: wore down quick , gets quiet, slips alot

Overall Review: i had this hub for 3 months then it staarted to slip alot and then one day im at etnies (lakeforest) and im heding for the big wall in a train and it slipped for good and i flew foward and i got hit by a bike IT SUX I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS CASSETTE HUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall Review: i agree with dave lawrence, i have this hub and i switched it to lhd and it dont skip on me, maybe if you wanna bes actually land a trick right it might not bend, and dont get cheap crap either!! a kid on this page was complainin about bending a single wall rim!! thats stupid of course it will bend if its single wall

"Works fine for me"

The Good: Pretty light, needs little to no maintenance, works great!

The Bad: None whatsoever aside from the haters.

Overall Review: Love it. Plain and simple. Use a hub guard if you don't want it beat up, clean it out on occasion, keep your spokes tight.

And to the kids who bought something from Eastern and had issues, QUIT BUYING THE CHEAP EASTERN STUFF AND WHINING. One kid got the niner UNSEALED CASSETTE and is whining on here about it. I am 100% sure he did NOT take care of it. Most of the issues people have is not properly maintaining their parts. Hell, most of the parts I run are the parts people claim are shitty, and somehow I have no issues, despite being more than double their size and riding harder than them. Kids are stupid. Period.
