I´ve had this stem for a year and it dosen´t slip AT ALL. I threw my bike once and when the bars hit the ground, one of the front bolts snapped. So I had only 3 bolts left and still did all my normal riding and it didn´t slip.



When I got home I just simoly removed the broken bolt threads, put a new bolt in a it´s good!

Great Stem! I like the shorter reach personally, would definetly buy another one if I had too. I bought it about early summer of 2006 and my bars haven't slipped yet! And I tend to throw my bike sometimes, and still they hold to the abuse. Awesome Stem!

super strong, never moves even when i throw my bike or i case hard. i love this stem 20 times more then any other stem i have ever had including the odyssey elementary stem.

I've always loved front load stems. They're easy to put new bars on, and just as easy to adjust. And it comes in all the funky colors you can think of. Do watch out that you don't use too much strength while tightening the bolts, i have compression marks where the metal has stretched in some places. But other than that, and excellent choice.

i recently obtained this stem and its worked wonders, perfect reach, cant complain about how light it is. i at first used the wrong allen wrench so it stripped a bolt, and i got on the phone with animal and they stand behind their products 110%. they sent me everything i needed. i'm psyched on this stem easily 5 stars.

Great stem, doesnt strip, grips great too. Just dont over tighten on the bars, left little stress marks in the aluminum, but that is my fault. Best stem not just for street or barspins, but for all around riding!
