My friend runs this stem upside down with a 2mm spacer and it hits his frame so i wouldn't advice you use it upside down.

Solid stem! Running it on my DK Dayton and my bars only moved once. Maybe a little heavy though. (11.5 oz) Have an extra if anyone is interested...

amazing stem, i have thrown my bike off of an 11 ft half pipe down to concrete straight on the bars, and they didn't even budge in the stem. great stem

Friend of mine had it and the bolts that lock tighten around the stem always loosened, really messed up his headset bad :|

Nice and cheap. But the bolts rust easily.

I rode this stem probably for about 2 years as it was cheap and a top loader...because lower bars makes you go higher...but yeah in the process of having it my bars never slipped, and mine came in a pretty sweet purplish color(the kind with the residue of a BIC pen), the only thing i found bad with it was that the allen bolts it came with rusted rather easily.
