Jose, there is no set up! Anybody could have entered this contest, even yourself. No rider had this contest in the bag from the beginning, just like any other contest. Nyquist, Mackay and myself have different riding styles, so when it came down to picking guys it was really hard.

tooker is pro as fuck, reguardless if he wins or not. the dood is good on a bike. and a nice dood....the top ten were some serious shredders. sparks and woodward were to big standouts, thoughs doods are inovative as fuck. this whole contest is sweet.

Okay, this definitely seems like a setup with Marcus Tooker being in the top 2. I'm not saying he's not a good rider, but someone that filmed almost all of their submission video in the Unit is definitely likely to know the haro guys a lot better for one, and also is a lot better at riding the place. Of course the guy that rides the Unit all the time is going to have a better attitude with the haro riders, namely Nyquist, since I know attitude is one thing they're using to determine the rider to get the sponsorship. Even if they do end up picking Nick, it still sucks that they didn't have the heart to give the other guys the chance to get to the top 2. All I'm going to say is that it seems really suspicious to me. I really like the Haro team and it would suck if some shady business was happening involving the pros that I've looked up to.

I like the tech riding in this video. I'm sure just going there was amazing and all the top 10 guys are probably being looked at by other companies. Seems like it was a great opertunity offered by Haro to get there names known.

I havn't heard someone call anyone a sellout in a long time. That made my day. Let me tell you something about the world Mistah Fab, it goes way beyond Cali. You should look at a map sometime, it will shock you.

Also I always tell people i'm originally from Cali, and currently living in Greenville.

Fab. Ive spent plenty of time with Nyquist, Darden and McKay. Both on photoshoots and socially. Trust me they all LOVE riding. ALL of them would still ride if their sponsors dropped them. Fab. Its people like you who keep the bitchy childish bullshit in BMX. All those guys represent BMX. That should be a good thing. Sellout is a word that is hot on the lips of kids that aren't good enough on their bikes to be sponsored by a

major bike company.

After many years of riding and experiencing a lot of backlash for doing what I love and getting paid and moving to another coast, I think I finally figured the whole "sell out" thing. Let me break it down for everyone in simple, easy to understand terms...



To sell out is selling out, but if you sell out just for the sake of selling out then you could either be...1. a sell out to the second power or 2. just not that much of a sell out, depending on how the laws of mathematics apply to selling out. Two negatives make a positive in math so maybe two sell outs make a positive sell out in BMX too. Selling out will always be selling out, but what if you are selling out for a good cause? Like selling out to buy gifts for underprivileged children? Selling out to do something nice and not so sell outish. I don't think I would call that person a sell out. Because selling out has to contain some kind of evil, selling out idea behind it. Could you sell out and be a nice sell out? That goes against all sell out notions. So a negative sell out and a positive sell out cannot exist in this vastly sold out world. So there can only be negative acts of selling out. So if you really think about it, selling out in the BMX world really goes against all laws of math and physics. Which means that all people that ride bikes, sell out or no sell out, live in a very different dimension of reality. The Sell Out dimension. It's very hard to recognize the sell out dimension because we are all actually selling out in it right now. In this sell out world, you'll find that a lot of the major sell outs are selling out soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard that it's impossible for them to do things and experience things that other people, not living in a sell out world, might experience naturally. Like non sell outers ride bikes and the fun just comes naturally. Like it's meant to happen that way or something. Rediculous!!!!!!! Did you ever think that maybe everyone is supposed to sell out? That maybe we are all doing the right thing by selling out and that all non sell outers are really just lagging behind? I think at that point that one might say that you are selling out because you are NOT selling out. But then we're back in the whole mathematics thing again. We really have to go deep on this one. Just like in mathematics, when the problems get bigger, the work gets a little more complicated. So NOT selling out... that would be a negative (NOT) and another negative (Selling Out). So normally that would make a positive. But this is where things get a little tricky. Since selling out is always bad (negative), and NOT selling out is two negatives (double negative = positive), we get a positive and a negative. And as we proved before, no matter how positive that positive is, it can't do away with the negative. Therefore not selling out and selling out both are negatives. So you might as well sell out... the end result is the same.

Here's another thought... Is it possible to UN sell my sell outs? Like somehow reverse all the horrible things that I've done? It would be like hopping in the line at the "Returns" counter at the Sell Out Depot and cashing in all my sell outs. What would I receive in return though? Would I be overcome with joy and laughter to the point of total bliss? Would I just have to lay on the floor while all the employees tickled me into a laughter intoxicated stupor? Unfortunately I don't think we have a Sell Out Depot in Greenville, NC... for obvious reasons... Because everyone that rides bikes here is a sell out and LOVE IT!!!!!!! The Sell Out Depot would definitely fail as a business in this town since everyone is so content with themselves and all their sell outs that they've negotiated over the years. Nobody wants to have fun that rides bikes.



So do the math, I'm a negative guy because I sold out, but all non sell outers are also negatives. No wonder why we can't do anything right in out sport. We are all a bunch of Negative assholes. I love to hate you all. Love = positive, Hate = Negative.... Still a negative!!!!!!!!!

I have to confess something. All us Haro guys really wanted to do was to select Marcus's video ten times and not give anybody else a chance to win. Here's the truth... The whole contest WAS a total sham and the whole point of it was actually just to get a lot of guys there to clean the place because I'm too lazy to do it myself.

OK... the real truth is that Marcus has been on Haro for the past 14 years and we are just now getting proud enough of his riding to announce it. He's a true sell out and I'm glad he took part in our Sell Out Contest.

OK wait.. here's what really happened. Marcus Tooker is really Dave Mirra in disguise and Dave never left Haro. Haro just started MirraCo and plotted the whole thing just to create a lot of hype on it.

Wait... here's another good one. The whole contest is fake and nobody gets chosen out of the ten guys. We actually chose mistah fabbulous to be our next teammate based solely on his ability to talk shit about stuff that he has no idea about. That's what's up!

Every single rider that entered kills it in their own way! Where I live BMX is all but DEAD and when were riding and my son pulls a trick he´s a pro to all the little kids that are riding their five or ten dollar bikes. It´s amazing what tricks can be pulled on a BMX bike! But I just thought WoodWart, Sparks or Watkinson was the new team rider. Just goes to show you I guess.

So far steve was by far the most talented rider, So i hope the last two dudes destroy it.
