One thing thats scaring me about doing this is the center bar that runs across the handlebars. i mean its like around my chest area and im afraid of smashing my chest on it.

dude...........no way. sick vid bro and good advice. i dont think i've ever even seen a frontflip howto vid before, thats pretty narly. no way im doin it any time soon but the way you explained it made it seem more realistic for me to do it though. sweet vid. i might try that if i can ever find a foam pit. not many good parks or any thing around here in TN. were i live anyways. but i wish you would have done some thing i might be tryin within the next few years.

I would agree with those asking for a more realistic trick. Ive been riding for 8 years and I dont see front flip in the near future. Then again every kid is doing whips and trucks after a year nowadays. Great explanation though; how bout a 360 no hander how to?

well maby if you ride brakeless you can just make your chain relly tight. it wont lock them but it will make them real stiff.

awesome altho i keep over rotating and i guess its like doing a double front.so i think that the part where you extend is all about timing..

dude thats nothing to really complain about frontflips r actually an old skool trick and people were landing them with heavier bikes than yours.
when the choice to learn frontflips came up it was almost guarenteed already it would be the most voted =P couldn't have chosen a better person to teach it tho. amazing tech tips.

Do most people lock the breaks on a front flip? sounds like that could help. Locking the breaks helped me on whips. Never thought about trying it with a front flip. Good advice!

that is probably the most helpful how-to I've ever seen. Good job. Most tricks are kinda obvious and you just have to try them but with this the tips he gives seems like it would save you a ton of trial and error time.
