if you stretch your grip out then put it on with brake cleaner(isopropol alcohol) they dry in like 5 minutes as its an evaporate.

with lock on grips you dont need any of that and they allways stay in place
12/13/2009 3:16 AM
Deoderant is the best , the water evaporates in seconds after putting them on leaving a sticky serface never slip and take about 20 secs t dry !

Yes , hair spray is the best, puts them on easy , only have to wait about 1 min to dry and ride , also sticky so they should never slip , even when they get wet...

Hairspray sticks well when it dries

i just put them in hot water for a couple of mins then slip then on and they havent slipped for me yet
6/9/2009 5:03 PM
I take my bars off by sticking zip ties in and it just slips off, and I put my grips on with rubbing alcohol. Dries really quickly and dosn't eat away at your grips either.

5/8/2009 6:20 PM
Id like to see the air compressor, Ive got one but havent seen it in use for grips before. I usually just use clear coat spray paint stuff. Works pretty good.....Well untill you put a hole in your grip then ya just kinda need new ones.
