This is a more relaxed edit from the first one. Riding locations include the Skatepark of Tampa, Bro Bowl, and Tampa street. When I am not studying I love to ride.
Thank you everyone for the comments and Vital for putting this video up on the homepage. I just got into the business building at my school to study for a Marketing quiz. I just so happened to check Vital to see if there were any new videos and news. When I saw that the video was on the homepage I did not know what to say. I had a big smile though. The artist is The Airborne Toxic Event. The song is called Sometime Around Midnight. I grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago (about a one hour drive) in a town called Barrington. I started riding about five or six years ago. I was inspired by Jimmy Walker, Koji Kraft, and Joe Battaglia. I would see them at Scrap Skatepark back in the day when it was open. When it closed down I went to the 'woodward' skateparks that are very small and a bit boring. However, I would just try to come up with odd/new tricks/grinds. I never thought about doing a flair, tailwhip, or anything down those lines. It just did not appeal to me for some reason. When I came to Tampa for school, the Skatepark of Tampa was my favorite place to be. I realized that I could do my weird stalls and turn them into actual grinds. I did not care if anyone thought my tricks/grinds were stupid. I just had fun doing them and that is all that mattered to me. I wish more people would try werid tricks. I miss the original and creative side to bmxing. If anyone has a question feel free to ask me on here or facebook. Just type in Scott Ehlert and look for the network that says University of Tampa. When it comes to riding, please do what you love and feel like doing. Do not try to be like anyone else. That is probably the best advice that I can give. I feel like I am sounding like my father, but it is just realistic and true.

Nice! BMX needs more people that ride how they want to ride and don't follow every single trend out there.
