Duo x Defgrip "Gettin' Nostalgic" Part 1 17
In the years between 1996-2001 I gained some of my greatest memories and built friendships that will last a lifetime. I owe these friendships and memories to a box jump, wooden berm, and a few mounds of dirt located in Raleigh, North Carolina… 401 trails. Lucky for me, most of these memories have been well archived by one of my best friends and the best cameraman in BMX, Will Stroud. This documentary piece is a glimpse back at some of the great times and many faces that have meant so much to me. I hope you, the viewer, like this and I hope it makes you think of YOUR old spots and friends and what they mean to you.
Enjoy.

Great video. Sadly when they were there people did shoot at you so no rebuilding was done. RIP 401 trails. They were plowed this past summer and the woods torn down.

I think every kid can relate to that immaculate feeling of landing a hard trick for the first time. This piece is awesome, thanks for posting it!

Rocket no hander at 8:04, so sick! And the truck to one handed x-down really is a trick that deserves to be slow mo'd, I love that intro. My copy of Damn Kids is pretty worn out at his part. And I remember when Doyle started slaying the streets out of nowhere, made some of my favorite most thoroughly satisfying video parts of all time. He's done some of the scariest rails and ledges ever, things that just won't be duplicated. I can't even ride dirt, but he's one of the only people who have ever made me want to.
Thanks for the post, and also to anyone who worked on making this.
