As said you can ride any bike for flatland, but a specific flatland bike will make the types of spins and tricks easier.

That's my flatland rig. 19.5" TT with bigger drops to support lots of peg standing, very low offset head tube and so on. ... more »

You can call what you like. You obviously weren't riding them hard enough. The fact those bearings (loose ball and cage) require adjustments in the first place means that as soon as you beat on them the geometry changes. The bearing walls start to wear, ... more »

Loose ball parts suck. They always have, and they always will. 1pc cranks, threaded headsets. All of them used to drive me absolutely nuts as a kid. I spent more time tightening up bearings than I did riding. That was all pleasantly forgotten during ... more »

I wear football shin pads if I ride dirt. they're cheap, easy to get under cargos and stop the bleed.
