Reply to Shin & Ankle Combo Pads 5/28/2020 6:43 PM

I went from the FUSE shin whip/ankle pads (w/ fuse Delta Knee pads) to the fuse Omega knee/shin combo. They don't have the ankle protection so i got a pair of the FUSE ankle protecters. I love them. They don't move around on me. I also like they have ... more »

I may paint it at some point. I got space in my garage so it will be away from the elements at least.

This is really the only one that shows the insides. I used 3/4 ply on the top and 1/2 ply for the sides and ends. The legs are 2 2x4s glued and screwed.

It is being released by Vinegar Syndrome. www.vinegarsyndrome.com. Right now the site is down because they have a big sale starting at Midnight. RAD has been their biggest pre-order yet and they don't expect it to make it through the sale. Not sure of the price. When ... more »

HA! HA! I'm just glad Rad was out of any major distributors hands because if it was we wouldn't be getting the new 4k/Blu release in a couple weeks.

Who knows? Probably best to stay away from people and to wear a mask to minimize you spreading your droplets to other people and encourage other people to do the same. Remember a mask really isn't for YOU it is for EVERYONE else around you.

I don't think so. The only real damage is on the lever hinge nothing really on the lever.. I keep my brakes pretty stiff and close to the rim so there is not much pull. If I really grip em I guess I can imagine that part bending. Maybe i'll try loosening ... more »

Nothing was loose. The bolt is still tight and snug! Nothing in my truck bed that can snag it when its back there and no crash I remember snagging under the top tube. My last two frames from WTP the stop had 2 screws.

Reply to Bmx Rim 5/10/2020 9:32 AM

Exactly, I had those rims and ran at least 4 different tires on them and didn't have any issues.. Get these (or similar): https://www.parktool.com/product/steel-core-tire-levers-tl-6-2

I thought about that, but then there wouldn't be the angle on it. Before I got that one I was just using a gyro tab and the brake cable was rubbing hard on the edge of the barrel adjuster and the pull was felt bad. I asked S&M and the customer service/warranty ... more »

Reply to Ever bend a cable stop? 5/8/2020 12:50 PM

Hah! Nope. If anything its my fault as I built it up... Just don't see how I could have screwed it up. The bolt is tight and snug. Just hoping I got a bad cable stop. I ordered a few more from S&M so I have spares if it happens again. The only thing ... more »

New thread Ever bend a cable stop? 5/7/2020 7:35 PM

Never had this happen before. Can't think of anything other than use that could have done this. Haven't caught it on anything, there is no other damage around the area. I got a couple more on order from S&M. The only thing I can think of ... more »
