That and he didn't seem to know of the existence of the Odyssey F-series.

Ever notice the name of the production company on the actual film? Taliafilm.... her husband Jack Schwartzman's company. He died so I would assume his assets would go to her.... also the company that is releasing and doing this restoration was founded ... more »

I bought a set of R25s and R32s in the last 10 months as well. Both only came with the standard Allen hole. On their website the first thumbnail for that compression bolt says its stock on all their forks, but when you click into the the detailed listing ... more »

Reply to What size cranks/bb do I need 2/2/2020 4:35 AM

What are you trying to do? If you are buying new cranks they will most likely be 22mm or 24mm. If so then you just have to buy a new bottom bracket to match. 19mm is usually the stock size and 22mm or 24mm will be the aftermarket sizes.

They are OEM (stock) Path Pros that are only rated 35-65psi.. Not the same quality as the aftermarket Path Pros...

I got this guy at Target. Fits right in the bag.

I like the Odyssey travel tool. Nothing to lose and has everything I need.

I have been using them for a couple years and have never had an issue. They are made out of neoprene. Apparently there are people allergic to neoprene or they have a reaction to the chemicals that are used to make neoprene.

Looks normal to me. You wouldn't want your top cap to be flush with the frame. As long as you have the compression ring in there and your bars spin freely you are set.

Matt Ray has been posting more lately. Seeing him ride in person when he is just riding is pretty insane.

I like the ones that mostly just focus on riding.. Foresman's, Dalton's, Cranmer's are all great to me. Brant Moore's riding ones are great too. I used to like Mike Fede's stuff but now it seems like every video now is a gimmick (concrete tires etc) ... more »

Try to find the best "old man session" time. One where the park is empty. My local indoor started a Wednesday morning session and I cant be happier. I usually have the run of any area I want for a good 2-3 hours. Best time to get the practice in.

Reply to How often to replace helmet? 11/27/2019 7:24 AM

If you truly had multiple bad slams (same spot?) you should replace. Most helmets are certified for 1 big hit. After that the effectiveness is limited and more of the g-forces will get through to your head.

Went from Longneck XLs to the Pulsars. I like em so much better out of the gate than the longnecks.

Usually there are stickers inside the helmet, you may just have to see if you can find the model online and see what you can find. I like the S1 because it is rated for multiple low impact hits as well as 1 big one!

Reply to Kink "Champagne" Video??? 11/16/2019 3:42 PM

It's great! You can get the DVD for free if you order stuff from Kink direct or you can do what I did and get the Blu-ray. It has ALL of Kink's full length videos as bonus features. Well worth the $40!!

If the helmet is certified and comfortable for you then it's good to go. My helmet is a S1-Lifer. I like it because it has a small form factor and is dual certified. Also comes with extra liners (one size up and one size down) to really dial in the fitment. ... more »

Safety gear goes a long way for us old guys (I'm 47), I have knee/shin/helmet and I have taken some pretty heavy falls and I keep on going!

I can't deny that long fakies are fun. I can go way further than ever before, I just can't get the rollout or half cab to save my life.
