With Verde a lot of frames are not 100% cor-mo Look for 100% full cro-mo Sealed brearings etc.. $500 gets a decent bike.

You can get valve core tool at Wal~ Mart in automobiles section $2 Stop at local tire shop with tubes. Ask if he can hook you up? Please give them a tip, so you don't screw it up for someone else. "A Tip" Some money for beer...40oz

Frames in the 90's drop out lengths were standard size? The drop out were huge. You didn't really need hub guard's. I have micro drop outs, so I have to run a half link in chain

I ran Maxxis grifter for years. Tryed Animal GLH and loved them. 20x2.25. is a wide tire. Great for up frontfor street/ dirt I like thinner tires, so 20x2.0 is ideal for me

You got the right brand. Animal GLH is what you need. TWW is good on rear on packed dirt trails.. I ran the MTT for a while. That's a beefy tire. GLH is a happy mediem tire

Definitely 20" bmx bike.. Lol Looks like you have some good after market parts. Maybe pic of serial # Check and see if it has a stamped logo on rear drop outs? Maybe Haro Hard to tell from pic
