Its a combination of moving arms legs back and forth as well as center mass, it just takes time, keep doing it you can only get better the more you do it anyways.

Get the longest crank arms you can find and align them opposite each other, should lower you some while straightening out your back. Only problem is you'll have to scoot everywhere.

Could be stretched chain, worn in sprocket that allowed a different rear end length to slam as you say, there could be a number of reasons.

Same sizes, length on both just that you can use any link on the half whereas a standard chain you can only use every second link. I don't think this has been mandela'd
