NEVERMIND!!! Turns out it was my Fit sprocket. The alloy spline drive insert came loose from the sprocket. Hope Fit replaces it https://vimeo.com/412126155

I would love an Elite just for the sound, but some people have reported that the extra engagement points leads to noticeable drag when coasting. That would be a total nonstarter for me so I never bit the bullet

XL rims aren't supposed to be stronger, they cut down on pinch flats when running low pressure and they make the tire a little wider which some people like.

You know, it's interesting you mention Simms because he was asked in an interview what the highest he could ever hop was, and he mentioned that he was giving up a few inches by not running the 7" bars of yore

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, where you kick out the back wheel a little and it skids and slows you down a bit. Not even a trick really. The pros seem to do them all the time and they make it look so effortless. I can post a video example ... more »

You’ll have to experiment. High psi is faster and twitcher, but kinda harsh on the body. Low psi is slow and but feels springy, kinda like you’re bouncing on your bike
