Look for used in your area just make sure sealed bearings and double wall rim and you should be good no matter what you get. Or ebay.

Alright that's right about how mine is. I guess I could have just gotten a warped spacer idk. Doesn't seem to be causing a problem other than with my ocd so I suppose I'll just have to live with it. Thanks for all the help.

I just took it apart to check everything and I believe it's how it is supposed to be. Is it normal for the bottom bearing to actually kinda set in to the frame like a bottom bracket bearing would and the top one just to kinda rest on top? I kinda doubt ... more »

Thanks for the help on the washers but how would I go about fixing the different gaps between the dust cap and headtube? With the bars straight the gap is smallest at the front and biggest at the back and it rotates around with the bars. I'd say the ... more »

Also is it normal for the gap between your dust cap and headtube to be bigger on one side than the other?

When i took my old headset apart it had two paper thin metal washers between the dust cap and stem. New headset didnt come with them so I'm just wondering what they are and why they would be there.

roughly 3/16"-1/4". I'm running just the bearing dust cap and sprocket adapter no extra spacers on the sprocket side.

Either go with the mongoose l100 or a higher end used complete from a couple years ago. If you find a good deal you can get a really good bike for cheap.

Most of them. Been riding two years and progressing really slow but I'm having fun and that's what matters.

I rode mine for a good few months but when your hub locks up while your riding and almost throws you over the bars it kinda motivates you to get a new hub. It did finally end up grenading itself but it was just a stock wheel from 2016.

I replaced cranks and bottom bracket recently. I do have the spacer but the one that came with my bottom bracket was too short and I couldn't switch back to my old one because I upgraded to a 22mm spindle so I put some of the thin spacers in the bottom ... more »

No guard I actually switched back to a 25t thinking it was my bent sprocket and I knew my stock sprocket was still pretty straight.

My bike was doing something similar and it went away when I changed out bars. If your stem feels like it's moving the first thing you should do is loosen your stem bolts tighten the compression cap until everything is snug but not so tight it can't free ... more »

My chain has a good 1/2" of wiggle, I have brand new bottom bracket bearings, and my sprocket is damn near perfectly true. What else would cause binding that would make my cranks not to free spin?

Definitely sounds like a damaged driver bearing. Just happened to my bike about a month back. Probably be best just to replace the driver because you'll most likely need a press to replace the bearings.

Having the round back would definitely be nice because I tend to snap chains and send my knee into the stem. Just don't know about the extra 3mm because if anything I wanted to shorten my bike up.
