Haha! That's where I get all my parts. I know Brian and Jake. Brian owns the shop. I bought and built my WTP from Secret BMX!! Thats my favorite shop. They are about 55 miles from me. I'm actually going there again next weekend if they are open to start ... more »

Love my WTP. Always wanted one years ago but couldn't afford it. of course at 44 years old having a decent career, affording/building a custom bike is no problem. But the geometry of these new bikes is so sensitive. Especially my WTP with a steep head ... more »

I ripped the brakes off my first bmx at 12 years old. That was 32 years ago and I'm still brakeless.

I never use to wear helmets nor pads when I was younger. But now I have everything. At 44 I'm not risking losing my job because of long term injury. That almost happen after my motorcycle incident 5 years ago.

You are correct. Prices have gone up and people on ebay, as well as bike shops have raised prices. I found my 2021 Kink Switch a few months ago for $499 shipped. Now I see them for close to 600. I ended up selling it on offerup for 600 after 2 dudes ... more »

I've been wondering the same.

Boy are you right!!! When I go out riding to practice tricks I always try to find a spot where there is no one around as I feel embarrassed at times on my bike. I need to just go out and ride period

Same story here. I'm 44 and haven't rode since 01' when I had my Mirra Pro. I can't believe how much bike geometry has changed. I'm still learning to bunny hop all over again. I can't believe I use to ride half pipes and do crazy shit, now I'm scared ... more »

This was my first bmx bike. Dad bought it for me for my 12th birthday at Toys R Us. I thought it was the best ever! It was a 1987 Murray X2. That bike was $72 if I remember correctly.

I run 160s with my 12.5cs and still hit my heels sometimes. I originally went 160mm because I have a knee issue where I don't have enough range of motion in my knee.

This makes perfect sense as my Fiend Reynolds v2 has shorter bars and longer CS. No wonder it's easier to ride!!!

44 here and also learning all over again. Still trying to get use to the new geometry of these bikes. Its insane how effortless it is to do things on them now. I'm fatoldbmxguy on insta. No progress stuff yet, just pics of my bikes for now.

I've experienced massive injuries when I was run over while riding my motorcycle almost 6 years ago. Physical therapy is VERY important! I had a broken tib/fib with compartment syndrome, open fracture and severed artery. I had 13 surgeries, 3 months ... more »

I've always been a street rider and still am. I'd love to go to a skate park, but that network frame would kill me instantly. I'm sticking with it, I love the feel of how solid it is.

Added reply in a thread short chainstay 11/15/2020 7:15 PM

My wethepeople network frame is insane with the 12.5cs. I'm coming back into BMX from 2001 and I literally looped out just lifting the front end to go up a 5" curb.

I've been out since 01' and I use to be able to jump on the hood of a friend's beater car. Now I can barely get the bike up an inch. I know I'm doing it all wrong because my wrists and hands are killing me! I know I did a couple of bunny hops correct, ... more »

I'll tell you, these newer bikes are no joke. First time out on my wtp network, pulled up a little to climb a curb and the bike went flying in the air. I'm scared to even try a bunny hop.
