Added reply in a thread WHY THE HELL DO PEOPLE ONLY PUT 2 PEGS ON THE BACK WHEEL? 7/31/2014 8:00 AM

I ride with 2 rear pegs currently. First of all I'm figuring out how to pogo on the rear wheel, so I don't need front pegs, and I'm just to lazy to put on the other pegs, even though its less work than the rear.

I think so, because they stretch a lot more and easier. That could be flat out wrong or have more to it, idk.

I always feel the same way, no place build anything really close to my house. And the only area for dirt jumps in town is practically owned buy other riders, so no changing anything.

I have no personal experience, but the kmc dropbuster and odyssey bluebird (if you want one half link) are liked a bit.

Sorry, but I honestly think you would have a better time using a skateboard or scooter (or roller skates) with that ramp.

Just a random thought, but would just a spacer on the outside of the guard help at all, or be possible. Or would it cause the wheel to slip easier.

Very true Joe. Thank you both for the replies and insight. One more thought, would they hold up to flatland, I'm starting to get into it, and it wouldn't see that much of impact.

No, I was think of putting them on my current bike. That is what a lot of what I was reading said, and one person made a review and claimed that they were near the strength of Alex triple walls, lol. Thanks, I will just keep keep my current wheel set, ... more »

So, I've wondered for a while about the practicality of buying a set of Skyway Tuffs. I have search the Great Google and come across some very opposing views. I would love to pick some up and ride them, but I'm just so confused as to if they will end ... more »

I just don't understand whats up with the tires, they look fat and ugly. That set up could look nice if it was like a matte black frame and stem, or just less oil slick, but EWWWWWWW.

I agree with Thomas and Dave; his thread is simply to inform kids, or adults with zero money, about their best choices, from the most common place in the area, the big box store. I bought my own $300 complete, and being only 15, money is hard to come ... more »

@bmxsteve99 Well, that's debatable. Early on (the true Pink Floyd time) and up till the 80's, and some songs in there, were psychedelic, but The Wall, for example, wasn't very psychedelic, it was pretty hard for the time. Pink Floyd is noted for being ... more »

Ya, i was liking it also, I was developing bike envy over the high-end mongooses also. Is that bad? But anyway, another one to look at is the Scan R70 from mongoose. At $269.99 you get a full chromo frame, bars, and fork, double wall rims. Except the ... more »

Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong section. About 2 years ago I bought a Haro 300.2 as my first bmx bike. As I've become more of a bmx "snob", I realize I would love to get better quality parts. Seeing as I am only 15, and don't have a job, it would ... more »

Hey, new to the forum. I've been been browsing for quite the time, and decided to hop on the forum. I wouldn't say that I'm a n00b, I just don't get to the park or anything, and haven't really been doing bmx all to much until recently (I can bunnyhop ... more »
