I had the same problem and it was the sprocket adapter ... I flipped the sprocket adapter around and used a washer on the crank arm bolt. Maybe this will help.

Clear pads slow down the wear, but won't prevent it. Slap those brakes on.... Function>Form

Added reply in a thread girl troubles 7/4/2012 12:20 PM

but not when you already made plans with her... there is a difference.

Added reply in a thread girl troubles 7/4/2012 8:18 AM

You don't. If you made plans with her you better keep those plans. All your doing is showing her that she doesnt matter, and that other things are more important than her. Keep her happy and she will keep you happy.

I don't understand what broke exactly, but if its just the BB a quick Google search revealed that it has a mid BB, which you can buy anywhere.

Added reply in a thread Does every one of these parts match up? 7/3/2012 5:16 AM

Why not just buy a complete? It will be cheaper for your aunt and you wouldn't have to worry about part fitment and building it when you get there.

Nice. Your better off with the Aba anyway. The vr6 would just destroy the handling and fun of a mk1. Dont get me wrong...I love VR6's (I have 2), but I prefer 8v or 16v's when it comes to mk1's.

Added reply in a thread whats it like when bearings go bad? 7/1/2012 4:51 PM

I'm pretty sure that's your problem. Grind the spacer flange down or something. The more you ride like that, the more your messing up your sprocket, chain, and hub.

Added reply in a thread whats it like when bearings go bad? 7/1/2012 3:38 PM

Did you try flipping the spacer like i showed you in your other thread? Still sounds like the same problem i had

Added reply in a thread Kind of a longshot but whos got a frame for $50? 6/29/2012 12:31 PM

I could ship this to you for 20 bucks if it helps you out. The headset isn't integrated, but i can include the bearings that came off of it, and also the bb bearings with the a 8 spline spindle for the cranks. http://www.vitalbmx.com/forums/BMX-Stuff-For-Sale,17/Free-frame-02-mongoose-fuzz-pro,1267694 ... more »
