Reply to Can't figure out how to pegs hard 180 4/16/2020 2:43 AM

When you're learning them you should try them like this: Land in the double peg with your weight a bit to the side that your about to spin, and you need to aim to land far away from the rail, like a metre away. And then once you can do them you will ... more »

Reply to I’m confused with my riding stance?!? 4/6/2020 8:18 PM

People will say to do tricks whichever directions you like, which yeah, you can do that, but if you can switch what direction/side you are comfortable doing tricks, it is worth it. My switch bars were my regular once, but I just sat there spinning them ... more »

Reply to May as well try a hop bar. 4/6/2020 12:29 AM

Pinching is good but it depends on how much you are pinching. For example when I learned hop bars I was so scared of taking my hands off that I pinched the seat really hard, this made getting a good hop and throwing the bars so much harder because I ... more »

Reply to BMX 180 Help 1/18/2020 3:31 AM

From this attempt I see 2 problems - You aren't carving very much before you hop, if you carve the opposite way before you start the carve for the 180, then you'll have more room to carve. Your weight is too far to the left, work on landing with your ... more »

Reply to How do you do those cool little kick-out things with your back wheel? 1/18/2020 3:22 AM

Just carve one way, and then carve the other way really hard, with your weight off the back wheel, sort of lifting it up, but not in the air, it's like something in between in the air and on the ground. Once the wheel is sliding straighten the front ... more »

A modern completely-street bike nowadays would go something like this: big 4pc bars, top load stem, short forks, short end frame with a high stand-over, a fat seat about 4 inches high, short cranks, pedals w/ grind sides, 4 plastic pegs, a freecoaster ... more »

Reply to Tailwhip 12/3/2019 10:21 PM

I have been riding for almost 5 years and the closest I have gotten is landing with one foot on the seat, the other on the ground. But I never actually dedicated a period of time towards learning tailwhips so I think it's possible but you would have ... more »

New thread Plastic pegs ruined bmx 11/27/2019 4:11 PM

I hate watching bmx now, plastic pegs have made bmx just not cool or gnarly anymore. It sounds like a toy. I don't mind the plastic pegs when it's riders with a sloppy style like brandon begin, but with people with dialed bikes and super clean styles ... more »

Reply to Tips on tricks for me edit.. 10/7/2019 8:08 PM

You got it but if you're going real street and not wearing a helmet I'd be careful on that 13 and 17 and just make sure you land with your weight centered so that you don't blow off the back of the bike and hit your head. If you crash from landing with ... more »
