have you guys ever used bikeflight before? They're about half the cost of fed ex or usps to ship the frame.

like the title says I’m wondering what the cheapest route is to send a frame. I have a frame listed on here that I’m going to sell but wondering what the cheapest way to send it is? Anyone that’s done this before I would appreciate hearing how you went ... more »

Yeah the wedges were coming undone. I’m blaming it on my big hands. I would try gettin my thumbs in the wedge cluster and spread the rubber band over the spindle and kept having 1 or two of the metal pieces fall out of the rubber band piece. My wife ... more »

Looks like it’s about time to bust out that cinder block you were talking about. Good job man!

Added reply in a thread Mission Parts 2/25/2020 9:21 AM

Mission has some decent parts for cheap. I love the mission brakes and lever. I had a mission front hub that was ok. It held up but wasn’t the smoothest rolling hub out there so I replaced it with a vandero pro. The bars and forks are good for a beginner, ... more »

Added reply in a thread Bmx for a 6,4 giant!!! 2/25/2020 7:52 AM

Actually the Raider has a steeper 75.2 head tube angle making it more responsive and better for real techy tricks and street riding. The Safari and Freedom frames have a pretty standard park/street headtube angle of 75 adding a little more stability ... more »

I’m really not into the wedge interface design they use. 48 spline cranks have always treated me well. I like the look of the caliburs just haven’t heard much about them.

Added reply in a thread Bmx for a 6,4 giant!!! 2/24/2020 8:58 AM

I would do it. It has chromoly bars and forks, sealed bearings all around. Just throw the parts on a frame that fits you and you’re good to go. Being that you’re 6’4”, I would look at frames at least 21.25” but would really go for a 21.5”. The bsd freedom ... more »

I’m getting back into riding after a 10 or 11 year break. I’m building up a new bike and got about everything except cranks and I want something strong. I never broke a set of profiles so I thought about getting the beefier profile column cranks, but ... more »

Added reply in a thread Manual help 2/23/2020 6:34 AM

You shouldn’t really need to be pulling up at all. The manual is all in the legs and the lean. Instead of trying to pull your bike up to you, keep your arms straight. Find that balance point where you don’t need to pull to get your front end up. With ... more »
