Speaking of vegan diets, my fiance was watching Netflix and came across a documentary called " Game Changers". It was pretty eye opening. I never would have thought any of the info in the documentary would be factual but I was looking up a lot of what ... more »

I suck, so the likelihood of any particular area being better than another, for me is probably a moot point. On the plus side, riding around looking for a great street spot makes it look like I can ride well but we just haven't found a spot!

Nice! Should make searching for specific things that are more precise to your search criteria, easier!

Well, it sorta depends. I think that it would be fine for you as a beginner bike at your weight, even with it being primarily hi-tens. That year Primer came in 3 different tt sizes (20", 20.5", & 21") and that might play into your decision. The 20.5" ... more »

Had one (as you can see in my pic) and gave it to my best bud as a wedding gift. I should have requested it back when he got divorced!

Added reply in a thread Hutch: Need help determining what I have 7/16/2020 9:53 AM

The cranks are Takagi 175's. Nothing of value. The Stem is an SR... which was a cheap Chinese knockoff of a Suntour stem. I can't tell for sure. Pedals might be Shimano. But were also prone to knockofs. You might want to send the Serial # to Hutch and ... more »

Your crank spindle size and BB size need to be the same. You have a 19mm BB listed but your Crank Spindle is a 22mm. Everything else should be good.

After last riding in the early 90's and then messing around with BMX bikes while working in a shop around 2008, I could never get a feel for the short bars that were all the rage at the time. When I actually got back into BMX a few years back, 9" or ... more »

Can't find specs on the Unknown but the lack of specs would indicate that it's frame materials are nothing they are "proud of". So, I'd probably pass on that. The Throne was sold out and I couldn't find much in specs. The SE is cool but it has an aluminum ... more »

Get in touch with the group. They might know. If they give you an idea, you might be able to verify it through pictures. At the very least they might be able to tell you the brand and you can contact the maker with the serial number.

Honestly, While I've got a soft spot in my heart for SE (I have a couple Quads and a Floval) I'd say do some research and what's available for the money (I don't know what that SE costs). Many of the completes made today are likely made in the exact ... more »
