40 years old. Got back into riding recently cause my kids wanted bikes.. build this one for myself to ride the neighborhood with em.. at least I won't break anything! Frame : WTP Versus 2018 Starlight Black Bars : Salt Plus HQ 4 pc 8.5" Forks: Eclat

Welcome Daniel!
This DB Lucky 18 still in action with a fresh makeover and lots of repairs and parts, is as old as this thread! Rebuilt last year for my 7 year old.. full 4130.. 40 dollar facebook market find and a couple hundred in parts and powder and this things
The duo.. this other bikes a fit Dugan with mostly parts I replaced on my wtp.. the fit is my go to for trying new things.. my wtp.. I try not to wreck but will send it on the jumps I know it's seen a few biffs.. I just buy new parts when I bash something..
Got some sun today! This frame changes depending angle, and goes black in the shade.. love it!
Thanks man! Yeah these tires are SICK but I read they are produced for eclat by maxxis so makes sense I suppose.. I cannot conform 100 percent but they outright say between two pages on eclats site that they outsource to the best for marrow, and when
Nope.. they came in scratched and with rubbing on one side I wasn't willing to hold onto them.. going right back
Got these Eclat Storm 25mm forks ordered up today.. will post an update once installed

He'll yeah brooo.. 40 and started again 20 years later. Lots of us out there!
40 here and started riding again a year and a half ago after not riding since 2000. It took some building up to the small things for 6 months or so.. but I got a helmet and some 12 dollar shin pads and told my reason to stfu one day and hit a fly out ... more »
Science!
I run bondi rims but on a dynamic rear Cassette and they are solid and I love them, the welds are PERFECT and I've run clear pads against them for 18 months with NO issues with the finish. I maintain my bike real well though, and dial my wheels every ... more »
Thanks man.. it's factory.. and is the reason it's a complete frame and not aftermarket at this point.. if WTP ever puts out a frame I like the finish on more I'll nab it up with some storm forks and just move everything over, but this frames hard to ... more »
