Trying to get something going with these blogs. I don't even know if anyone on here can respond to them. But I was wondering how riders felt today about how contests are run. Back in the day there were terms like "Stuntboy, Really Good, Stuntman". You had to qualify for shit. When the first few X-Games started to pop off, dudes had to qualify. I remember Mr. Ryan Nyquist riding for BONTRAGER at a qualifier in Seal Beach securing a spot. Cameron was riding for 2-Hip. Kady knocked himself out transferring from an 8ft. quarter-to-quarter. Trop McMurray still had dreads and was stomping 360-rocket-Xups over that Slim Jim box which was over 6feet high.

Point is, now there is the invite only system at X-Games or whats left of them. Then there are formats of running a comp. How many runs? How long for each run? One rider on the course, or jam format? Someone should read this say something. Riders need to learn how to voice their opinions, or some Jack Off will do it for you. Remove the tape over your mouths!
