I've gotta ask, I have been looking at this thread and at the shadow killer cranks and can not figure out what you need a crank tool for. Can you not just use the bolts that come with the cranks to install and remove them? I have enver built or bought ... more »

Apart from this little issue it has been great. Way smoother than any khe style coaster I have ever rode.

If you watch the videos George put out on it, it actually is very simple and no harder than a khe style hub. I hated the khe style because they broke so often. The length of time i have had this coaster (6 months) is longer than I have ever had a coaster ... more »

I think I will have to do that. I just use auto wheel bearing grease because it seemed like a similar thickness to what was in it from the factory. The noise itself does not bother me, but when it locks up and wont disengage is kinda sketchy. I'm just ... more »

Ok so I'm not new to coasters at all. I've had 3 now and just got a clutch at the beginning of the year. It made the signature clunk for the first couple weeks than went away. Now almost 5 months later it's ma king this noise again. Not only that, but ... more »

Wow, your statement shows how little time you spent to read my post before just having to "correct" me. I said I haven't got close out of a resi which I have hit and said foam pit because it uses the same lip to jump off of......... than I said that ... more »

Just huck it out of whatever you feel comfortable on. I can 5 on a nice little concrete fly out but can't even get close on a resi or foam pit. I don't like it when people think that all people progress the same. I haven't learned one trick on resi my ... more »

Added reply in a thread Short frame, 4 pegs and cassette 4/21/2017 6:30 PM

I currently ride an alvx with 4 pegs. It pretty good, I wear size 9 shoes and I don't hit my feet on my pegs. I do run 165 mm cranks. My friend also had an alvx with 4 pegs and he wears size 11 shoes and his feet didn't hit. If you have knee problems ... more »

Sunday and odyssey because they make sick parts and have an amazing team. Plus Sunday frames are way stiffer and way better quality than any other frame I've ever ridden.
