Anyone ever had any experience with this? I'm basically getting to the stage when I'm pretty much desperately in need of a completely new bike. I don't really want to get a complete because there's not really anything I've found which has everything ... more »

The only BMX youtuber's I really watch are Scotty Cranmer and Spencer Foresman, Spencer in particular always makes an active effort to avoid being like the channels you described Steve. He's a very good rider and a pretty funny guy too, he did a video ... more »

Started new thread Always wear a helmet 10/30/2017 12:57 AM

I just wanted to give a friendly reminder to always wear a helmet. I got knocked off my bike on the way to work a few days ago and fell pretty hard on my shoulder/head. I went to the hospital and luckily just have some soft tissue damage, but if I wasn't ... more »

Not sure I fully agree, I saw a guy (probably about 16/17) at the skatepark the other day riding a Mafia complete and his forks were completely bent out of shape, he didn't seem to care all that much about how close they looked to breaking

I think the Mutiny Villij has welded break tabs... I think

Glad you liked it dude! Really changed my perspective on BMX the first time I saw it back in the day, realised it wasn't about who can do the most spins or flips or whatever. It's also what got me back into riding, found it lying round my house a few ... more »

People with no understanding of skatepark etiquette. I was riding the other night and as I was about 3 feet above the coping whilst airing the quarter pipe some kid dropped in right next to me. I still don't know how I managed to miss him as I was coming ... more »

Let's get mystical by Mutiny. Hands down one of my favourite things I've ever watched, not even just in terms of BMX. In a way I almost wish I had never seen it because nothing ever lives up to it for me now. Soundtrack is sick too, I sometimes listen ... more »

How come people hate on Snafu and Hyper? Can't say I really have any knowledge of them besides guys like Scotty Cranmer and Cory Berglar riding for them

I was just calling it a disaster tooth chink to fakie but wondered if there was an actual name for it or not :p

I guess that means I'm not cool

Added reply in a thread What would you call this? 9/18/2017 11:39 PM

Yeah a downside smith to fakie is about the closest thing resembling it I've seen but still not quite the same. Dave is right though, basically just roll up, stall my front peg on the coping (with my back wheel still in the ramp) and then fakie out. ... more »

Was messing round the other day and I started doing a "trick" (not even sure if you could call it that) and wondered if it was something people actually did. Basically riding up to the top of the quarter pipe to do a rock to fakie/disaster to fakie or ... more »

Added reply in a thread Frame geometry changes 9/16/2017 1:07 AM

Thanks Steve. I'm quite a short guy (5' 7") which was my reasoning for going shorter on the tt, do you think I would be better off staying around the same length for that? As for the chainstay length I probably wont run it slammed anyway so that I have ... more »

Hey guys, been planning on getting a new frame soon. Been wanting to go for something more compact and responsive than what I'm used to. My current frame is 20.75 tt, 14 chainstay and 11.5 bb height. The frame I'm looking at is 20.6 tt, 13 chainstay ... more »

Mutiny Obscura, niceeeeeee. Was really hoping to get one but with Casteluzzo gone they've all but disappeared. Specs look really nice for the new 2018 Comb though, very tempted by it

Where I ride it's usually the skaters that are chilled and the BMXers that are dicks haha

Added reply in a thread Airing a quarter 9/4/2017 12:52 AM

I'm in a similar boat, I can air a couple of feet over coping and 360 a box jump but I cannot do flat 180's no matter how much I try haha
