Reply to Little kids at the skatepark depreciation thread 8/27/2014 10:50 AM

Sometimes I feel as if I'm babysitting. Mom and Dad sitting on top of the quarter with their backs to the park and faces in their phones, all while their kids skate in circles in the bottom of the bowl. Even when the kids were out of the way they couldn't ... more »

Your question cannot be answered accurately because there are so many variables involved. You'll have to go ride and see what you prefer. I'm 6'3" and taller bars help my back, that's about all I can tell you.

Free t-shirt, bag of stickers and air freshener with my last order. I haven't stopped buying from Dan's, I have no complaints. Some kid at the skatepark asked me where I purchased most of my parts for my recent build, I told him Danscomp, his reply, ... more »

Bitch pease, gain some strength.

Negative. Take that $550 you save and save another $550 and build a custom bike to your prefrence. You will be much better off.

Reply to Hey I'm 6,3ft and need help 6/19/2014 12:11 PM

I'm 6'3" and ride a 21.5" BTM, 8.7" rise bars with a 55mm stem; very comfortable and diald. No more back pain.

Pegs are not a factor when it comes to bike control, sure they add more weight but it's insignificant, unless you're running some crazy super heavy pegs for some reason. Seriously, think about, the margin of weight is so small. With or without pegs, ... more »

Yep, high or mid tops. I'll never ride again without them; no more bruising.

I do not like the idea at all. Prank caller, prank caller!

If you don't like it and don't want to ride trails, then you'll never develop the ability to do so. You don't want to make learning trails a chore; you'll end up hurtning yourself again. I started on trails by having a "bail friendly" jump with a soft ... more »

S&M stems are great. I'm running the Enduro and ride quite hard at 235 lbs; no slippage. The Enduro's looks are appealing as well.

Reply to GSport Rims 6/4/2014 2:42 PM

I'm 6'3, 235 lbs and ride fairly hard, no issues with the Rollcage rims.

Sounds like you're more concerned with color rather than frame quality. Trans red is like candy apple red, also, if you're leaning toward the sky blue gold, then get that color. It's your preference.
