They'll last as long as you're not grinding concrete. Concrete ledges will eat your peg up very quick.

Plegs are the thickest plastic peg there are, but as stated above, if you're going plastic, use sleeves. The peg has more structural integrity because a metal peg is inside, but you still have that slide of plastic. Demolition Dumbchucks are good also, ... more »

You should be fine with that cap. If not, I know a few people that didn't use caps and just used spacers instead.

Barends came first, then the pedals, then seat. I still like the comfort factor of plastic pedals, but I wouldn't go back to them because of the fact that the grip isn't as good and I've already broken 2 pedal bodies on plastics.

Haha have him do the elmstreets. They'll do what the customer tells them to do though, so definitely ask for Ken. He's a bastard and deserves to do it. The other shop guys are really nice and shouldn't be tormented like that.

I agree with you now. I ran an inch of visual seatpost for years, and then decided I wanted more. Now I run a good fist of post. If you know your preference will not change, then go ahead and slam that shit!

As of yet, I'm not sure of the release date. Have Ken do the tire though. That bastard needs to get off his ass and work for a fucking day in his life at least.

Hubguard should be coming around soon. Been hype about it for months. He's not kidding when he says he keeps the guard on there just to piss people off. It's annoying as shit. Rattles around like a motherfucker. I think it only lasted like 2 grinds before ... more »

For your first question, yes. You can run a gyro with a small amount of space. I'd recommend the Odyssey GTX-S gyro, or Snafu Mobeus if you're on a budget.

Can't go wrong with 65 bucks for a hazlite, rollcages for 80, or even primo vs for 75. I'd go with one of those two, as well as either Primo or G-Sport hubs. (Prices taken from albes.com)

Thanks! Back in the day, he was my only riding buddy. He rode a custom sunday for about 2 years and then it got stolen and he didn't have the money to buy another. I finally convinced him to get a new bike and now he's shredding again!

Eclat rims are good. Tree hubs are good, but expensive. You can get better for the price on both of them, but they're still both gonna last you.

Haha no not at all. I've had that name since 8th grade because my drunk friend thought I looked like a scooter and couldn't spell it. Skooter is me, not scooter =P I got that bike at the beginning of my senior year of highschool.

Mine's gonna be a few stages... I skipped a few minor things, because they're minor. But this is the overall trend of how my bike got personalized. 2010 Boss first day I got it
