Added reply in a thread One Peg? THAT'S INSANE! (Pic Heavy) 11/8/2012 5:17 AM

Thanks man

I've been riding for so long I've tried every peg arrangement there is, and I went back and forth between 2 pegs and none. I just kind of figured out that one peg is perfect for me because I love peg less grinds, but missing a peg ... more »

S&m frames are sooo solid. If recommend them greatly. Glad I could be an influence on your decision :D

Incredibly comfy. I used to run 3 fingers of post, but now that my seat is wider, easier to pinch for suicide no handers, and more comfy, I decided to bump it up to a full fist. Seat's great. I love the feel of it, as well as that comfort.

If you mean the Troopers, since they don't make throttle I don't believe(but if I just haven't heard of them, I'm sorry), get the demolitions. I wanted them, but it wasn't fitting the budget unfortunately... Let me know how much I wish I got them.

EDIT: MORE PICTURES! I've been playing around with my pegs, and I've come to the conclusion that pegless grinds are fun, but not pegless smiths, since when you miss, you eat whatever you're grinding. I've settled at one peg for now

I love this already... When can I watch the real thing? Please?

Added reply in a thread Sunday street machine 11/7/2012 10:34 AM

Why does a "street machine" need to have 4 pegs? I ride one peg, but that doesn't stop me from doing other grinds. It's called a dropout, and it slides just as well as a peg. Street is what you make it. If you ride street on your machine, it's a street ... more »

Can I please just have one bite? haha look great dude. Big fan of the demolition parts! I'm thinking about using some demolition on my fit after I finish building up my old boss.

Added reply in a thread Wrong Spokes? 11/7/2012 10:02 AM

4x and 3x can both work for a 36h. As long as the spokes are all tight, there's no difference in strength, however, if you lace a 48h 3x, it will be slightly weaker than 4x. The extra crossing over makes more triangles, which hold laterally, much better. ... more »

Haha I used to keep all my allen wrenches wrapped up in a rubberband. I had like 10 6mm's, 3 8mm's, 4 5mm's, and random assortments of 4's, 3's 2's 2.5's etc. so I'd never be able to find the small ones since the bigger ones would make it impossible! ... more »

Using tube boxes for something other than tubes is GENIUS. I can't believe I never thought of that. I usually put everything in little baggies, like old bearings, chain pieces, masterlinks, spacers, etc. but that's such a good idea! I like how you have ... more »

Ouch! I personally haven't ridden them but a friend of mine is also on his third pair. Sunday frames and other parts are legit, but personally, I'll stick with pitchforks. Did they crack in the same spot?

It's funny you say it's tidy because this is the cleanest it's been in months! Thank you for noticing! haha

I do alot of stuff out riding too, but sometimes I just work on my bike because I like to, and I like to keep it solid. I used to work on my bike once a week and grease everything up and take care of everything.

Yeah pretty much nobody likes waiting... I'm currently waiting on tires and a seat, which is no big deal, but my old tires were roached out. What forks did you warranty?

Added reply in a thread Bike Corner and What You Do? 11/6/2012 9:59 PM

Haha I lost so many tools because of that. I used to just throw them wherever, but ever since I worked at a shop, I keep all my tools in a nice toolbox I got, unless I'm rocking a 6mm in my pocket or a 17mm in the back of the truck.

Added reply in a thread Primo cranks? 11/6/2012 9:57 PM

The hollowbites at the shop I used to work at had them... because the shop I used to work with never sold BMX parts, meaning they sat there 5 years.
