I don't get how people ride with a bunch of belongings in their pockets. I only have my wallet in my back pocket and stuff the rest into a backpack. Come to a spot, drop it off, ride. I don't trust my pockets

Does anyone know some universal metal guards? Or is that not a thing.. I think G-Sport has a metal guard that's universal

Can I fit any metal hub guard for my rear NDS? Plastics always break and Cinema doesn't sell any compatible Metal guards.. does compatibility even matter?

Why? looks just fine. If you mean the spokes that are sticking out and missing, then I was already taking it apart and just took a photo of what was left.

Yes, did notice that, but how do you fix this? Try to keep everything centered to the hub and rim when starting to lace?

Added reply in a thread Shortening spokes 5/18/2020 9:41 AM

When I put each spoke on I equally tighten each one, but when I finish the lace the wheel is reallyyyy off dished. One side of the spokes is perpendicular to the rim, while the other set of spokes are at an extended angle. So, dishing it correctly would ... more »

Nope.. everything has been done properly and carefully from the older build and this newer build. Same process and techniques :/ This is why I'm so confused. Only place that seems shady to me is after lacing the first round on one side and switching ... more »

No, I got the sizes down. Short spoke on tall flange and etc.. None are misplaced. Plus I checked by swapping one spoke on each side and the results are even crazier

All DS spokes are crazy long.. This photo is also when all the spokes are super loose as well.. I did all the math and there's no possible way that my spokes are too long for this setup.. I think if I shift all spokes on the right side +1 or ... more »

Just found out that offset is the distance between each flange to the center of the hub? Also, if the new hub is further away from the center.. shouldn't that mean you would need longer spokes as the distance from the flanges to the rim spoke holes would ... more »

Got a new hub as old one broke.. Same brand and type, newer model. I assumed that I could just reuse my new spokes that were originally meant for the older hub. They both have the same flange diameter, but the offset on the new hub is 1.5-2mm longer/bigger ... more »
