It’s things like this that take away any doubt about why a lot of kids grow up unwilling to accept responsibility for their own actions. I recently told my 20 year old that there are those whose parents get mad at a school when their kid gets in trouble, ... more »
Lol.
Definitely shows the skills of a rider to be doing all of that on the bike he is using.
This explains quite a bit and offers a different perspective. I could see having tools necessary for working on your bike, and such if you are riding distance, or out on trails. For me, a long ride still keeps me within a couple miles from home, so I ... more »
I completely agree. The sad thing is that everything was neutered back in the day because of “emissions”. Meanwhile, big business was poisoning the world with all manner of pollution and running through reams of paper as fast as my fat self eats French ... more »
That was awesome! What is he riding? It just doesn’t look like the kind of bike that you’d expect to see doing the things that he does with it. Very cool stuff man!
For as much as I don’t remember anyone ever talking much about the weight of their bikes back in the day, I also can say in total honesty that aside from flatland... dudes are riding waaay harder now than they ever were. We used to ditch our chain guards, ... more »
One cool thing about those old wagons is that aside from the years when it was all about cutting down the emissions, it seems they always put the bigger motors/better transmissions in the wagons.
Any reason not to? I mean, the guy asked. And, as I said before... I live in the community where I worked so it’s not as if I’m in witness protection or something. Even when I was doing the job, unless someone was running carloads of dope, I wasn’t likely ... more »

The folks on this forum are exceptionally helpful. From what I’ve seen, you won’t get a lot of “ignore the noob” treatment here. People seem to actually enjoy encouraging one another. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone local to you doesn’t offer to walk ... more »
I believe GT made those in several different levels (like version 1.0/version 2.0/etc.) with the higher numbered versions being their higher end models. As such, the equipment used on each version would differ from one to the next, and the price would ... more »
I just surfed through the inventory at DansComp and didn’t see anything that is both full chromoly, AND comes with a 20.0” top tube. It looks like everything that is full chromoly has at least a 20.5” top tube, and everything smaller is either all Hi-Ten, ... more »
Tried a bunny hop on my afternoon ride today, and didn’t get off the ground. I really feel like the 7” bars in this 24” bike are keeping me from getting any leverage to hop. Should have my taller bars by the weekend, so I will be trying again when they ... more »
Good job bro! A bit more speed would make that completely sick.
