Are those Redline forklifter bars on it in the first pic?

Nice, very clean build. I like the little bit of chrome. Black and chrome always work together.

Some newer frames dont clear bigger sprockets that well without shimming way out and causing bad chain alignment. Tried 33t on a Macneil Loden v1, didnt work. 30t just barely clears provided the sprocket is still straight. I remember the days of 44-45/ ... more »

Cool. I have a 20 still from 95 or 96 I believe. What did you need to do to convert to a 24?

Demo is a good choice, this is the third year on my Demo rogue cassette and still as smooth as it was new. The Ghost front hubs look sick too. Havent had one but my Phantom was solid and smooth. Shadow Raptors have also been strong and reliable. SE's

Added reply in a thread Sunday Freeze Top Load Stem?? 9/8/2013 1:02 PM

Imho it looks as cheap as its price. But I haven't heard of any breaking yet. Personally if I was on a budget i'd watch the scratch and dent or clearance sales but im a little biased as well, not a fan of Sunday with the exception of one or two of their ... more »

Front and rear brakes, so few riders left that still know how to use them.

Added reply in a thread How accurate is pijin spoke calc? 9/8/2013 12:25 AM

Rounding up shouldn't end up being too long once stretch is factored in? My local bike shop in the past has told me that pijin usually gives numbers that are a bit long to start with, but never actually checked different combos to see how true it was.

Started new thread How accurate is pijin spoke calc? 9/7/2013 6:02 PM

I am looking into ordering spokes but availability seems to be an issue with some sizes in my area right now. Not to mention only even sizes ie: 184-186mm etc. My hub and rim combo on pijin comes up with drive side 183.4mm non drive side 185.4mm I have ... more »

What type of rim are you using? 406mm sounds huge. Cinema 777's are 396mm and they require longer than average spokes.

Added reply in a thread are hub guards worth it? 9/7/2013 12:44 PM

I agree get one but sometimes hub specific guards arent always the best if your worried about your spokes.... example Macneil Primary guard for matching rear hub, Its barely big enough diameter to cover the flange on the hub although has done its job, ... more »

Added reply in a thread Edwin,Aaron Ross Grips,Or Odi's??? 9/7/2013 12:35 PM

Like everyone else said, Ross grips wear out fast, Edwins feel pretty good, Odi's so far seem to last the longest of the three and feel pretty good too.

Started new thread Eclat pulse guard on Oddy v2?? 7/9/2013 7:22 PM

Will it work? Local shops dont have the oddy v2 or the BSD guard for the v2. Anyone used an Eclat pulse front guard on one?

Added reply in a thread Mutiny rune or Fit wifi 6/21/2013 5:58 PM

I have had two Loosefer's which were the same spec as the Rune. The short back end with pegs just takes a bit of getting used too. I even rode mine with 180mm demo cranks for a little while. 175's are definitely a little easier to deal with though. I ... more »
