It put uneven pressure on bearings also made two clutch coasters make a grinding noise that only happened to each one in that frame. When put in multiple other frames with all the same parts including the chain the noise went away. A colony wasp hub ... more »

Reply to Tall Bars vs Short Bars 11/24/2019 4:22 PM

Bar height on its own doesn't mean much with the differences in stem height, head tube length, steer tube length, fork crown height, and even BB height all affect how tall the bars feel.

18 months was a good age for us, she was ripping up the park right away and by the time she transitioned to pedals no training wheels were needed.

Got a Sunday Street sweeper frame new that was made wrong... Was 106mm between dropouts. Was a nightmare getting wheels in and caused hubs to fail quickly due to being pinched.

Reply to What style top caps do Colony Dagger forks use? 11/10/2019 11:40 AM

Not saying this is 100% accurate but its right off the Colony distro site. M25 x 1.5mm thread (Colony Logo) fits forks pre 2016 range. M24 x 1.5mm thread (Printed writing around cap) fits 2016 fork range. I would try emailing colony to confirm though ... more »

Reply to Fork Length 11/10/2019 11:24 AM

After measuring my r32's when height always felt tall compared to my other forks they turned out to be 320mm. Others I found at 320mm are wethepeople battleship forks, some eclat, S&M widemouth pitchforks (even though some sites advertise as 315) ... more »

I have a left side drive one in stock in Canada.. I could see what shipping costs would be if you want?

Reply to Are Eighties Roadie hubs any good? 10/25/2019 8:51 PM

Is fully sealed, comparable to many of the popular ones out there. Plus it comes with a primo guard. Also check the Eighties Hell cassette. Comes with both primo guards. All the eighties products I've had in my shop have been excellent quality.

Reply to Peg length 4/17/2016 2:09 PM

If you can find a set of the demolition team pegs from 2 or 3 years ago they are longer than most. I still have a pair and do find I can lock in easier with them. Also watch small local bike shops for old primo pegs as well.

I have a guttershark v2 frame I could take close up pics of certain areas of you need something to compare too. I'll have to dig it out though.

New thread Which guards for Sunday storm 4/17/2016 1:59 PM

Anyone know which guards other than g-sport glands fit the storm front and cassette hubs? I'm guessing one for one of the odyssey hubs but not sure. Its just a spare set of wheels but it rather not beat the flanges.
