Hopefully we are coming to a point where this stuff doesn’t matter anymore. All that matters to me is bmx and Corey is one of the best to ever do it, hands fucking down. Good for him!

Certainly not taking sides - nor should anyone before Brad says his peace - but keep in mind that pro BMX riders don't make a lot of money. It's not like he was making 100k a year and demanded 200k. "Double" sounds crazy from "real job" standards, but wanting $1,000 a month up from $500 or $2,000 a month up from $1,000 doesn't sound as insane. I don't know the exact figures we're talking here, but I can guess a ballpark range and I'm confident it's not as offensive as many are making it out to be. I assume the feeling he didn't want to be involved in more team-based stuff is a bigger deal than the financial side.

I don’t blame Fit. Go ask your employer for double salary and see how they respond. I know Brad got that Nora Cup (and deserves it) but asking for double is just ridiculous.

I love brads riding etc... However watching some of the videos that Fit puts out, he just didnt seem like he was in to it. You would see like 1 or 2 clips of him and the rest him kind of off by himself doing his own thing.
Seems more of a rider that wants to ride by himself and not tied to a team exactly.
The adidas contract seems more of like what he needs, where he isnt with a team just by himself.

His riding used to be good. but the last few years in my opinion it has been unwatchable.

Dropping that prestigious redbull hat and beanie on the ground like a piece of trash every time you do a trick might not be a good look

Fabulous article that I believe is incredibly relevant to our BMX community. Yes is general we are an accepting bunch! But this does not mean that there is not homophobia among us, it is important to break the stigma surrounding homophobia which is highlighted well within the comments of this article, even if some are “supportive” they go on to contradict themselves.
Corey, big up to you for the scale of your public unavailing your a much braver man then most. You had my interest from just riding and now you have my upmost respect from across the pond.
Love is love, but let’s talk about it, let’s accept it, let’s grow together and prove that BMX is for EVERYONE.
