It only wears shoes out if you choose not to find alternative ways to stop. Like skidding? Definitely cleaner and any skill you obtain feels like yours. And not the bikes mechanical advantage over natures forces. Definitely not as safe. Weighs less without ... more »

At first, when my old wheel was buckled, (which they did) they said wait until they heard back from eclat suppliers. Then half a week goes by and I got my misso to go down for me while I was at work. I told her that if no attempt had been made to fix ... more »

Which puts me in an interesting situation, it seems I'm not knowledgeable enough to do my own repairs, but even when I take it to a shop it still gets wrecked haha

Ya know now that you've put it into perspective like that, it does seem pretty retarded. I called them And described my situation and they told me to take the bike in, as it would be best to actually see it. Unfortunately I have a good feeling I bbought ... more »

Will try that once I get home, thanks man If I can avoid grinding the device designed to protect my new hub, I will!

Added reply in a thread chain rubbing hub guard 6/25/2015 2:17 AM

Think it's a division? Never heard of them but I needed a guard for a BSD pro and it was the only one they had that fit the axle. It's kinda annoying and I'm sure the chain wouldn't like it over time

Started new thread chain rubbing hub guard 6/25/2015 1:36 AM

Pretty sure my chain is rubbing (hub makes ticking sound when peddling only) Is it okay to angle grind the edges of the guard away? And will that fix the issue? If not I'll just buy the jersey barrier

I didn't even get the chain on yet! I was thinking it was the bearings slightly out of alignment cause I smashed them in tight and took out a spacer between sprocket and crank arm (forgot to put back in) and now it's moving freely even with the bolt ... more »

Thanks, I'll have to pick some up. the last time I went to the bike store they only had ceramic grease, which I figured was probably for ceramic bearings but was going to be better than no grease in the meantime. that sounds about right. once the ride's ... more »
