For what little its worth, I'm a 33 year ' Old ' man....and I've never even heard of TCU. Vital has helped me reconnect with BMX....and I'm even starting to find some of the bickering 12 year old's mildly amusing.
I don't think you can go too far wrong with any of the modern day set ups. here's what I got

Cheers bud, wasn't sure about 'huge' - found a lot of hate online for Colony, wasn't even sure about posting it up - but the words of encouragement here helped. I just like the fact that Colony was started up by an Aussie...guess it was almost my patriotic ... more »

This. Unfortunately for the OP with a bit of shitty weather and rattle cans, its probably not the advice you want to hear - but put the time in, get the results you want! don't be afraid to go different either.
After buying an S&M Long Johnson and running my seat as high as comfortable for peddling, I realised...with modern geometry, there's a reason why seats are meant to be run low. Mines probably a couple of fistfuls at the moment, but its going back ... more »
Nothing specific at the moment. Number 1 priority is buying a house...which, if you live in Sydney is incredibly expensive. I'd like some planned redundancy. A new pair of custom wheels...going to be very much guided by what the local shop recommends ... more »

Back in the day a mate and I shared a bottle of Vodka...I rode home. Felt like I had balls the size of mini buses, rode this hill - halfway down, I think I forgot what I was doing, took a corner - lowsided my bike and face planted a mail box. Did not ... more »
