i don't see that as arrogant. like you said, bmx is cheaper than most hobbies. unless you live in a 3rd world country, its pretty easy for anybody to make enough money to afford a bmx. especially one with spray painted parts.

Premium is essentially Haro's luxury brand. i believe that is a Premium Solo, which was simply a rebadged Haro from the around 2010. i think it retailed for around 400, and it's decent for getting back into bmx. i'd use the Premium for a season or two ... more »

back to the not reading my whole post. skipping words like "main point" or interpreting them as "only point". Karl's point is drugs hurt bmx. so lets just drop weed from this conversation and use the phrase "recreational drug use". BMX markets to recreational ... more »

i feel like you`re not reading my whole post. i keep my edits clean because thats my business. if i chose not to, it would be just as much my business. this is how BMX edits have operated since street bmx became a thing in the 90s. inclusion of drugs, ... more »

i just read a bunch of Krooked`s posts on his profile. definitely a troll. i came here from bmx-forum.com to find a nice busy forum, but half the people who post here are trolling...

i think the OP might be trolling. he never mentioned any of these girls that are sponsored but can`t ride as well as him. and i suspect if we post a video of Angie Mario of Peta Sheppard or any pro girl riding their bike hard, he won`t be able to match ... more »

I do drugs, but i keep my edits clean so my 6 and 8 year old cousins can watch. however, if you paid for an edit someone else made, its still their business if the edit contains drug use, not yours. i dont know why you brought up murder, this has nothing ... more »

lol anyone who says drugs didn't affect lance is obviously a troll. but the quotes you posted just support my point that there are cycling sports with governing bodies for those who want strict drug regulations. our sport is for those who don't want ... more »

this is the best point on this whole thread. this is a freestyle sport, not a sport for rules and regulations. it's like a civil rights movement within cycling. i feel like saying promoting drugs hurts bmx is like saying rap hurts black people. the whole

I agree that drug use does give bmx a bad reputation, but i also believe that it's called "freestyle" for a reason. not only can you do basically whatever with your bike and your riding, but you can incorporate BMX into your current lifestyle. a lot ... more »

Reply to stopping mechanism 4/5/2015 9:22 PM

I ran evo II's on my last setup and fly's on my current one. the fly brake feels cleaner and gave me less issues setting up, though i haven't ridden it long enough to see how durable it is. the evo's are solid with minimal flex but like tecnic1 said, ... more »

you should come to canada. the cops around my area (just west of Toronto) usually just watch and call me out for not throwing bars out of tricks. and they usually let me keep my weed.

nah, pour milk in the frame. same smell effect but it works faster and gets into bearings and stuff. or if you have time on you hands, break open a pump and use it to fill their tires with water. or theres the more harmless route of covering the bike ... more »

i spent about 2 years riding trails and park only before i found the joys and creativity of street riding. i've been riding for 8 years and i still don't have 180 completely locked, but i can table-air any ramp or jump. the G-force feeling in the gut ... more »

ehh, its more popular in road and mountain bikes where there's suspension a derailleurs to keep things running evenly. they don't get beat up the way BMX bikes do so the stiffness translates to added efficiency and has minimal effects on strength. it's ... more »
