I think the VX filming fits his riding, very classic but it is not everyone's cup of tea so I see where you come from

I definitely love his style, so burly and old school with a fair mix of new tricks. Music is amazing as well it's great to hear something besides rap that flows with riding so well. Makes me want to get one of his frames and everything, some old school ... more »

Just a reminder if you haven't seen it before or you forgot, In my opinion Zach is a street beast, definitely my favorite rider because of how non popular he is. Crazy to think this guy has been doing frontflips in street for so long and people aren't ... more »

Added reply in a thread Shoes, do they matter? 5/17/2018 4:49 AM

I've ridden almost every BMX shoe I could get my hands on, Nike, Vans and even Lotek and what i've found through trial and error is that vans are the best. Nike shoes have somewhat decent grip and build, but for me they're stiff and not good for crankflips. ... more »

I've been running pc pedals pretty much my entire time riding and the only issue I have is the eventual wear down/loss of pins, I do a lot of crankflips and ride on the upper ball of my feet (so i have more of a chance of slipping a foot). I'm considering ... more »

personally I can't sit into backlashes but when I get into one it's a deep backwards manual that's hard to pop out of for me, If i'm trying to practice backwards manuals I 180 flat, roll backwards and then try to hop into them, but they aren't consistent ... more »

So I've seen a lot of people using the box that holds your back wheel in place so you can practice manuals stationary, I would want to make one to get my balance point perfect so I can learn backwards manuals but my only question is, what if my weight ... more »

I was the same way for a very long time, what helped me was music to get my adrenaline up to push past that fear Now in my head I have learned to push back that fear factor by thinking "If I don't commit, I'm going to get hurt worse" and I use music ... more »

I've tried everything, I own vans, nikes, etnies, I had a pair of loteks at one point too. I use odyssey pro PC pedals Nike has a durable, solid shoe build but as far as the sole goes, the grip slips around on my pedals when I hop and the shoes barely ... more »

Crankflips are awesome, and one hell of a fun trick when you do them right but can also be a headache for tech in the wrong place. It was one of the first tricks I learned, (sucked at them at first) but they're just as versatile as bars in my personal ... more »

how tough is it to render footage converted from a VX? my computer takes forever with most clips from my cheaper sony handy cam, I wanna get a VX but the risk of losing clips or buying a faulty one are what keeps me away from it to be honest
