We have a Ray's MTB Park in Milwaukee too and it's fucking dope! They even have a foam pit for learning new shit & a new novice section for beginners. I personally love flowing the trails... super fun!

Nice! I actually LOVE the look of brakeless bikes with fat tires and slammed seats, they're just so fucking clean looking! Problem is I just can't ride 'em like that, lol. That's why I just try and keep my shit looking fresh as possible... trying to ... more »

I think the stem alone should fix your problem... even though I have a ton of space because of spacers, my detangler doesn't travel much when I pull my brake lever. If you look close at the picture I posted above the top of my detangler only rises to ... more »

LOL, for sure man, I almost forgot about the stem trend shifting back to top load. No need to let it bother you unless you try and keep up to be trendy. I just laugh when people trip on my brakes cuz I don't give a fck... and look, more and more threads ... more »

Just saw your pics... try to adjust it so your detangler tabs are closer to your frame tabs like this:

You'll notice that it looks as if they're almost touching... that might give you at least a little bit more pull. As you can see in the pic ... more »

I'm confused... how much travel the detangler has doesn't really have anything to do with how soon the brakes lock up or how much pull is at the lever. It's all in cable adjustment. You just need to learn how to set up brakes. Here's a thread I made ... more »

now you're starting to get it... trust me BMX is the most "trend" based scene I've ever incountered, but I've managed to rise above and stay true to my style by running full brakes and four pegs from day one. Just look at the seat trend. Two years ago ... more »

Get THESE FORKS, they're even on sale right now. I run them and they are legit (plus they're made by Odyssey so you know you can't go wrong). As for the brakes, I have the Fly Suelo's on my Eastern and Odyssey Evo II's on my Kink. At half the price, the ... more »
