Nice work on the megaspins, keep it up. One thing I have to constantly remind myself that I find to be key is to start into the spin calmly and at an even tempo. My tendency is to want to whip around right into it too fast, and scuff like a madman, but ... more »

Thanks pnj, always appreciate the tips. And I totally agree about getting more stable rolling around in the position. I can tell I don't quite have the balance point solid enough yet to just steer around like I do when doing it backwards, which makes ... more »

Nice job 47! Starting to get out of these forward steamrollers a little more frequently, although nowhere near consistent with them yet, and still can't throw the rear back around to exit yet. https://youtu.be/g2i2qlTnvNY pnj - Any tips on throwing the ... more »

That's awesome 47, and I agree with pnj, I've found that to be totally true... It's amazing how your subconscious pretty much continues to internalize a lot of what you're body has been learning, especially when you take a break from it. Glad to hear ... more »

I've been watching the Matthias Dandois 'Can You Make It?' videos on YouTube, and then I'll basically just YouTube whatever trick I'm trying to learn and watch a bunch of videos to see if there are any good pointers. But to be honest the flatland instructional ... more »

Thanks, seemed like a natural progression from the peg wheelies. One tip that took me a bit of trial and error to figure out that will hopefully save you some time (and some wrist pain)...make sure you when you go into the spin you get around at least ... more »

Dang forty, that's rough! I know everything your going through, had a blocked ureter when I was in my 20s (congenital defect), caused my kidney to swell up like a balloon, kidney stones, the whole nine yards. So I feel your pain, and man is it painful! ... more »

Wow, nobody posting here in a while, hope all the injuries are healing up! Been plugging away at the forward steamrollers, definitely a next level trick. But slowly starting to piece it all together. Right now starting to get the half lash dialed, but ... more »

I seems like if you ride with your left for on your front peg then clockwise is the natural direction to rotate, and if you ride with your right foot on your front peg then counter-clockwise is the natural rotation.

Yes, definitely. Although even that looks like it's going to be tricky with stepping over the bar, but I'll give it a go.

That's a bummer man, hope it's nothing serious! Oh, and btw, I payed attention to what I focus on while riding backwards and scuffing during the fork glide and I pretty much just look down at the front tire. I actually get a little dizzy sometimes if ... more »
