This is great but does this mean it will show up as available for pre-order or will you actually have them? If pre-order, when do you expect to be able to ship? If before Christmas, this will probably be a Christmas present to myself.

Here's one that I found! If you just go by exchange rate, £149.99 comes out to around $240 USD. Also, I just noticed that if you click "View Availability" ... more »

FWIW I run 8.5" Fiend Team bars and a Kink Bold FL 54mm stem but I think most bars of the some height are pretty much the same and the Fiend bars are what the local BMX place had in stock in 8.5". I bought the Kink stem because that is one of the few ... more »

Well the Shadow coaster will be released in spirit as the new Karl Poynter Ezra coaster that is also due out soon.

Have you considered that 8.5" or 8.65" bars might be just right for you? I'm 6' and ride 8.5" bars. It's hard to know for sure though since you ride a top load stem which gives you some height and I ride a front load but I think I have a spacer in there ... more »

Yes, when?! I have a Google alert set up to alert me when there's any news on this but I haven't heard a peep since Interbike. Come to think of it, there was a bunch of new Kink stuff at Interbike too that they are advertising in Danscomp catalogs that ... more »

Strange. Seems counter-intuitive to me but I guess some this has to do with wanting to be able to slide out in the rear (if you're riding street/park)? (Also, just a note, Danscomp has the Machete listed under race/trail tires.)

Reply to Fit FAF's or Demolition Momentum tires? 11/13/2012 7:58 PM

Really? You'd ride a Machete in the front and Momentum in the back? Wouldn't you want the more aggressive tread on your rear (drive) wheel, especially the Machete that's made for dirt riding?

Yeah spend almost $400 on the bike with two single wall rims and a partial CroMo frame cause two guys here said to get it without any reason why.

Welcome back. There's still some kids on here who can't help themselves but by and large it seems like a decent crowd. I just recently joined as well after having gotten back into BMX after 20 years. (I'm an old dude.) I dig the color scheme of your ... more »

There are several companies out there that make stripper specifically for powder coating. Do a web search and you'll find a bunch. One interesting thing I found is this chopper page where they say that gasket remover is the most effective way to remove ... more »

Whip, all day. The only advantage I see to the Fit is that it has Fit tires but the Whip has a full CroMo frame and a double wall rim in the rear. I own a 2012 Transition and while I have upgraded some parts to my liking there was little that needed ... more »

I just bought a flatinum one and it came today. I can't say with any certainty anything about the reliability of the hub but I can tell you this: the rim is no joke. Very strong, no flex: 7075 aluminum, double wall, welded seem. I decided to wait until ... more »

Maybe you don't want to move to a state where the residents are so smart they willingly sign their name to a petition to commit treason on a federal government web page.

Unfortunately I don't have much to compare them against except for the cast aluminum pedals that came with my bike. I will say this, they seem extremely strong for as thin as they are so they should last and since they have replaceable bodies and sealed ... more »

Strange. I ride at FDR park in Philly and haven't had any problems on concrete with Stunners front and rear. There's a few other people I've seen running them there as well. Of course, I'm just a newbie.

Reply to Demolition throttle pedals 11/8/2012 12:05 PM

My choice for pedals is the Premium Slim PC pedals. They are one of the lightest pedals, have sealed bearings and you can replace the cages. There are more expensive pedals out there that don't even have sealed bearings. You can get them at Albe's as ... more »
