If it is laying around, do it. Build it up into something different compared to what you do ride. As in brakes if you don't run em, pegs if you don't run em etc.

Not with the unsealed hub. Save some cash and grab a sealed front wheel. You can find em for pretty cheap sometimes.

You'll get used to the weight pretty fast. I tossed front brakes and an Odyssey fork from like 08 on a while back. Good times. May or may not stay on, we shall see.

Even when I rode constantly (several hours daily) Odi Longnecks always had the longest life for me. I won't get anything else at this time.
